Summary
Young girls are being kidnapped from an amusement park in Vienna and sexually abused. When one of the girls turns up dead, Moser and Rex get involved. Of the two other victims, one has left town and the other is near catatonic. While Rex tries to snap the catatonic girl out of it, Moser begins searching for those responsible.
The good
Using an animal to help abused children does actually work and is used in real life. Moser gets the idea after he goes looking for a new house and is almost run over by the local vet, Sonja Koller.
The bad
There was a degree of falseness in the catatonic girl's interaction with Rex but it's only a minor point. The criminals themselves were pretty much non-characters in this episode, the focus instead on the victims and the disgusted inspectors. |
