Chapter 32
Jayme slowly woke up sighing happily and smiling. She opened her eyes and turned to the side to see Nick staring back at her. her smile grew and she pulled the sheets over her naked body, she scooted over closer to him and rested in his chest letting out a soft moan. She felt his hands wrap around her back and smiled, it really was real. "How long have you been awake?"
"Just a few minutes, I liked watching you sleep."
Jayme groaned and moved her head back to stare at him, "don't do that Carter, I know how awful I must look. She ran her hands through her hair and scrunched up her face, "I need a shower."
Nick laughed and kissed her nose, then her lips, "you look beautiful."
"I can't believe I am actually here in bed with you...naked." Jayme laughed.
"Believe it baby its true. I'm here and I'm never leaving."
"Good, because I'm not letting you leave."
"I guess it's settled then, we stay in this bed forever, just making love and sleeping."
Jayme laughed and for the first time in a long time Nick saw that sparkle in her eyes, it had been so long since he had seen her so happy, he knew he must look the same to her. And it was true, it had been along time since either had been happy, REALLY happy. Now that they were together they would spend forever making each other happy.
"Are you happy?" He asked her.
Jayme stopped laughing and her expression grew serious as she wrapped her arms around his back, "yes, I am so happy. It's because of you Nick, I am so happy. I could be happy staying in this bed with you forever making love. No music or fame or money, just you and me and us."
"Good, because I love making you happy."
"Are you happy?"
"I haven't been this happy since my dad bought me my first Nintendo."
Jayme again burst out laughing throwing her head back as tears of joy filled her eyes, "so I'm being compared to a Nintendo now?"
"Don't worry I'm sure you can handle coming second in my life."
Jayme only laughed harder but quickly stopped and pretended to pout, "you mean I'm not important enough to you."
"Never baby," He wrapped his arms tightly around her waist and kissed her gently, "your the most important thing in my life."
"Good." She said cheerfully.
"Ya know, this is the part where you say, and Nick your the most important thing in my life."
Jayme laughed, "I was just getting to that, I was gonna say, good because your the most important thing in my life."
"Good." Nick laughed.
Jayme sighed, "we should probably get out of bed soon."
"What happened to staying here forever?" Nick tightened his arms around her.
"Come on Nick, I need a shower."
"Yeah me too. It's just a shame that I only have one shower."
Jayme smiled and sat up tightening that sheet around her body and getting out of bed, "you mean to tell me that in this big house you only have one shower?"
"Yup."
Jayme bit her lip and stared and Nick, "I guess we'll have to shower together then."
Nick was up and out of bed before Jayme could even finish, he didn't bother to wrap a sheet around his body and jogged to Jayme hugging her tightly, "I love you."
"I love you too."

A few hours later both were out of the shower and dressed, both extremely hungry. They had spent more time in the shower than either had planned and they both didn't wanna leave. They were finding things out about each other, and it was so exciting for both of them. They were falling in love with each other in a completely different way.
"What do you want to eat?" Nick asked as they stepped into the kitchen. He was dressed in boxers and a tee shirt while she was wearing a pair of sweets and an oversized tee shirt of Nick's.
"Are you cooking?" She asked looking at him doubtfully.
"I'll have you know I am an excellent cook." Nick defended himself.
"How about pizza."
Nick smiled at her and said, "Whatever, but I can cook."
"Yeah, yeah." Jayme pulled at her shirt and sighed, "I wish AJ would hurry up and bring my stuff, I want my own clothes."
"AJ?"
"Yeah he was the one that drove me here. He's the best, he kept everything a secret from you and was there for me through everything."
"I guess you two are close, huh?"
"Yeah, we are."
"Oh."
"Nick's what's wrong?" Jayme asked at the look on Nick's face, but he was already on the phone ordering a pizza.
When he was finished Jayme took his hand and led him into the living room, "baby what's wrong?"
"I just wish I had been there for you instead of AJ. You two are so close." He confessed running his hands over his face.
"Baby, we were both being stubborn and didn't wanna admit we were in love. You don't have to worry, yes me and AJ or close but I love you."
"I know. I love you too." Nick said leaning over and kissing Jayme, they were interrupted when the doorbell rang. "Shit."
Jayme just laughed and followed Nick to the door holding his hand along the way. He opened the door and found AJ on the other side holding Jayme's bags. AJ raised an eyebrow and laughed.
"It's about damn time." He said.
Jayme jumped forward and grabbed AJ into a tight hug, "I love you AJ, thanks for everything."
AJ wrapped his arms around Jayme leaving her bags on the floor, "I love you too and your welcome."
"Hey, hands off my girlfriend." Nick joked pulling Jayme's into his chest from behind.
"It's so good to see you two together." AJ told them handing Jayme her bags.
"Ooh I can finally wear my own clothes." Jayme said taking the bags from AJ.
Nick pouted and crossed his arms over his chest, "you mean you don't like wearing my clothes?"
"Sorry Nicky your just too big for me."
"Never baby never." Nick whispered to her with a look of humor in his eyes.
Jayme's eyes widened when she realized what he was talking about and laughed walking to the bathroom to change.
"Come on in AJ." Nick waved him in leading him to living room. "What's up?"
"Nothing, I just came to give Jayme her bags, I'm so glad you two are finally together, the other guys are very much relieved."
"The other guys know?"
"Yeah I could only keep a secret for so long man. So how are you two?"
"Great, she's amazing AJ I love her so much."
"I can tell, she loves you too."
"Yeah I know."
"You look so happy."
"I am, God AJ she makes me so happy. I mean look at me," Nick into AJ's eyes, "have you ever seen me this happy?"
"No, its sad but no."
"Fame has taken so much from me and I am finally in love and I'm finally happy. I am going to make sure that what happened to me doesn't happen to her, I love her with all of my heart and I don't want her to suffer any pain in any way, I'll protect her with everything I have."
"I'm glad your in love Nick, I mean that."
"I am so much. I can't say it enough," Nick stood up and spread his arms wide and shouted, "I love Jayme Caruso."
"And Jayme Caruso loves you." Jayme yelled from the doorway.
Nick walked to Jayme and wrapped her in his arms. "I love you J."
"I love you too Carter."
