Nick had missed Hannah everyday. He was surprised he fell for her so fast.
Hannah drove home from work quickly. She over overtired and even though he hadn't yet, she was hoping Nick would call.
She got to the house and hung up her coat. Just as she was putting down her purse and keys, Lydia ran into the room.
"You've got to hear this!" Lydia cried out, grabbing Hannah's hand and pulling her into the living room.
"Okay, I got home an hour or so ago and these are the messages." Lydia smiled as she pressed the play button.
"Hi, my name is Kathy, and I am calling from Visa, we were just trying to reach Hannah Livingston, but we will call at a later time." message one said.
Hannah looked impatiently to Lydia and she just smiled and pointed to the answering machine as message two came on.
"Oh baby, I'm missing you. We use to love so strong, tell me where did we go wrong? Oh baby, I'm missing you. They say I'll learn to forget, but it sure ain't happened yet." Nick's voice sang.
The answering machine clicked off and Hannah just stood there with a huge smile on her face.
"So remind me again why you left him?" Lydia giggled.
"That was so sweet." she said in a daze.
Hannah walked out to the hallway and grabbed her coat, keys and purse.
"Where are you going?" Lydia asked.
Hannah smiled, "Back to New York. And back to Nick."
