She turned it up and sang along.
An hour and a half later, she parked in front of Nick's apartment. She looked in her mirror and fixed her hair. She got out of the car and went and rang the doorbell. She heard Nick humming as he came to answer the door.
He opened the door and looked shocked.
"Hannah! I missed you so much." he said pulling her into a hug and closing the door behind her.
Hannah wrapped her arms around him and breathed in the scent of him deeply.
"Nick, I'm so sorry." Hannah whispered as she held onto him tightly.
Nick let go of her and brushed her cheek lightly with his hand. He brought her to the couch to sit down.
"What are you sorry for?" he asked looking deep into her eyes.
"For leaving."
Nick nodded and was quiet a minute.
"Why did you?" he asked.
"I was scared. I ... I haven't fallen in love in a long time and I was scared of getting hurt." she said quietly looking down.
Nick lifted her chin with his finger and brought her lips to his. She kissed him for a moment and then they pulled apart and smiled at each other.
"Think we can make this work?" Hannah asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah I do." he said kissing her cheek lightly.
Nick wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close to him.
She laid her head on his chest and sighed happily.
"Nick?"
"Yeah?"
"Thanks for the song." she smiled.
"I am glad you liked it."
"Hannah?"
"Yeah Nick?" she giggled.
"Up for a game of playstation?" Hannah just laughed and kissed him lovingly.
