"Hannah, are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah, it's just I was thinking a lot today and..." she started.
She saw how worried Nick looked when she looked into his eyes. So, she got up and sat down next to him.
"Nick, when you kissed me, it was amazing. But I was thinking, I mean, what now? Do we start a relationship? We hated each other not even two weeks ago. And we can't really forget about what happened. Everything is going to be awkward now." she said.
"We can have a relationship." he said almost pleading.
"Come on, do you really think it would work out?" she said skeptically.
Nick felt crushed by what she said to him.
"So what do you want to do?" he asked quietly.
"Well, I talked to Lydia, my best friend and I'm going to move in with her a little while." Hannah said standing up, "I'm going to bring some clothes with me and this weekend, I will come back and move the rest of my stuff out."
Nick nodded sadly and Hannah hugged him tightly.
"Thank you for everything Nick. I really want to stay friends, so I left the number on the fridge." she said.
"Bye Hannah." Nick said letting go of her.
She walked to her room and grabbed her suitcase, waved goodbye and headed out the door.
Hannah drove up to Rhode Island, and never stopped. She was excited to be staying with Lydia, but she knew she'd miss Nick.
She turned on the radio and 'As Long As You Love Me' came on. She sighed sadly and wondered is she did the right thing or the wrong thing by leaving.
Hannah knew that it would have been a little awkward at first, but things might change and they could have a good relationship. Hannah shook the thoughts from her mind and drove on, leaving Nick behind.
