Friday morning, Anna came to Leigh's house and beeped the horn. Leigh came outside and got in the car.
"Thanks for picking me up, I really didn't feel like driving today." she said.
Anna said your welcome and the two headed off to school.
Leigh sat through first period, eyeing the clock. Just when she thought she was going to drop from boredom, there was an announcement that there was an assembly.
As the students poured out into the halls, Leigh spotted Anna and caught up with her. Leigh and Anna planned on chatting through the assembly.
About 10 minutes into it, the doors behind them opened, so everyone in the assembly turned around.
Leigh turned around and then quickly turned back.
"Oh my god, it's Nick! What's he doing here? What am I going to do?" Leigh said flipping out.
Anna darted her head towards Nick, and saw a teacher walking over to him to she if she could assist him in anything.
Anna turned back around, and saw Leigh slouching in her chair. She sighed when she started hearing the whispers.
"Isn't that Nick Carter?" , "Hey it's a Backstreet Boy!"... Leigh got out of her seat and excused herself past everyone. She walked up back, to Nick.
"What the hell are you doing?" she whispered loudly as she grabbed his arm and pulled him outside.
"This was the only way I could get you to talk to me!" he said defensively.
"Nick, have you totally lost your mind?! You can't just stalk me the rest of your life, and you can't keep calling me either!" she said angrily.
"I know, I'm sorry. I just want to talk to you, please?" Nick pleaded.
Leigh sighed, "I need to go get my stuff, then dismiss myself." she said exasperated.
She quickly walked back into the auditorium, trying to ignore the weird looks she was getting. She grabbed her things, told Anna where she was going then hurriedly walked back out.
After she dismissed herself, she and Nick went out to his car, and drove to his house in silence. They walked in and sat down on the couch.
Nick cleared his throat and started, "I am so sorry about how I treated you the other day. I was being jealous and rude. It's just I don't want to see you get hurt." Nick said sheepishly.
"Nick that is very sweet of you and all. But, I don't know why you would suddenly think I would go and mess around with other guys. I may have kissed you Nick, but that's all I have done. It's not like I am out with 10 different guys each night. That really hurt me when you said what you said." she said.
"I know. I am so sorry. Will you please forgive me?" he asked.
She thought for a minute.
"Leigh!" he whined.
She laughed, "I am only kidding! Of course I forgive you Nick."
"So we're friends? Right?" he asked.
"Nick, you are so dumb sometimes." she said as she started to laugh.
