Anna giggled a little, "Guys are jerks, I know." Anna said.
"Yea, especially blonde ones name Nick Carter." Leigh said.
Anna didn't laugh because she knew, even if Leigh pretended to hate him, she didn't at all.
The phone rang and when Anna picked it up, it was Nick.
"Uh, hi Anna. I called Leigh's house and her Mom said she was over yours. Could I talk to her?" he asked.
Anna blocked the phone, "It's Nick! What should I say?" Anna said whispering.
"Tell him to drop dead." Leigh said casually and turned on the TV.
"Um, she's busy. Sorry Nick, bye." Anna said and quickly hung up the phone.
"You have to talk to him sometime." she said to Leigh.
"Not in this century. He's jealous and rude to me. And I don't want to waste my time on him." Leigh said.
She got quiet suddenly, "You know, I really started to like him." she said, with tears coming to her eyes.
Just then there was a knock at the front door.
"It's open!" Anna yelled, while trying to comfort Leigh.
Brian walked in, "Hey! It's my two favorite ladies." he said.
"Your so corny." Anna complained.
"What's wrong?" he asked, when he saw the teary eyed Leigh.
"Nothing, except for what your oh-so-great best friend did to me." she said sarcastically.
"Yeah he told me. Then I yelled at him for treating you the way he did, and how it was wrong of him, not to trust us. Then he was saying how right I was, and he needed to talk to you." Brian said.
"Well, he can save him breath." Leigh said.
"So, what are you doing here?" Anna asked.
Brian smirked, "Just to visit! Do I need a reason?"
"Well..." Anna joked.
Leigh looked at her, and they burst into laughter, as Brian just made a face.
