"Mmm ... your nice and warm." she said turning around to face him.
He leaned over, and sang into her ear, "Baby is it possible to love someone so much..."
Leigh smiled and kissed Nick intimately. After kissing a few minutes, they both laid back down and fell asleep.
Over in the other bed, Anna and Brian shared a sweet kiss. Then Brian kissed Anna's forehead.
"What do you want to do tomorrow?" Anna asked.
"Spend the whole day with you." Brian said smiling sweetly.
Anna just signed a sigh of happiness and laid her head down and went to sleep.
The last two days went by very fast. Their last day, they packed up all their stuff, drove home and each went their separate ways. After Anna and Brian drove off, Nick helped Leigh inside her home, since she had a lot of luggage.
Leigh's mother was working for a few more hours, so Leigh brought Nick up to see her room.
"You like it?" she said bringing him in.
"Yeah, it's nice, I like your bed." he said with a smirk on his face.
He pulled her closer, but Leigh just giggled and went to the door.
"I'll be right back." she said leaving.
A minute later, Leigh came back to the door white as a ghost.
"Leigh what's wrong?" Nick said rushing over to her.
"I checked the messages. My Mom .... she's, she's..." Leigh said before she started crying hysterically.
Nick wrapped his arms around her.
"Where is your Mom?"
"The hospital." Leigh said through sobs.
Nick grabbed Leigh's hand and lead her outside to the car. He got Leigh in her side, then he got in and headed off towards the hospital. Nick could tell Leigh was in shock, so he grabbed her hand and asked her what happened.
"I don't know. I checked the messages, and the hospital called, saying she was rushed to the ER and I should get over there as soon as possible because it is urgent." she said not believing what she actually was saying.
When they got to the hospital, Nick and Leigh rushed in and went up to the front desk.
"Excuse me, could you please tell me where Helen Montgomery is?" Nick asked.
"What relation are you?" the nurse said in a dull tone.
"I am her daughter." Leigh said speaking up.
"Okay, a doctor is on their way out to assist you."
A few minutes later...
"Are you Leigh Montgomery?" a man asked.
"Yes I am."
"I am Dr. Williams. Your mother's appendix erupted and she had to have it removed. At first we thought it was something serious, that's why we left an urgency message on your machine. But everything turned out great. She is resting in room 238A." the doctor reported.
Leigh let out a huge sigh of relief and she thanked the doctor. Then she took Nick's hand as they walked to room 238A. When they reached the room, Nick offered to stay outside, but Leigh said to come in. She went in and gave her mother a big hug.
"Hey kids, how was the trip?" Helen asked.
"It was great, but more importantly, how are you feeling?" Leigh said.
"Oh I am fine. They made such a fuss over a little stomach ache." her mother laughed.
They all sat there and talked for about an hour, then Leigh stood up and said it was getting late, and they should get going.
"I will be back tomorrow to pick you up, okay?" Leigh said kissing her mother good-bye.
They all said good-bye, and Leigh and Nick left the hospital.
In the car, Nick was about to start the car, when Leigh put her hand on his.
"I love you."
"I love you too." he said.
"No, I mean I really, really love you. You do so much for me. I mean, today with my Mom, the trip, just everything." Leigh said.
"I really love you too. And you are worth it." he said.
Leigh smiled and she leaned over and kissed him.
Nick started the car and drove back to Leigh's.
Three weeks passed, and Leigh's mother got better, Anna and Brian were falling in love, and Nick and Leigh were going strong. One day Leigh was sitting in her room doing homework, when the phone rang.
"Hello?" Leigh said answering the phone.
"Hi Leigh."
It was Anna, and she was crying hard.
