"Leigh! It's so nice to see you again." she said as Leigh walked in.
"It's nice to see you too." Leigh kindly.
Leigh saw Nick jog down the stairs from his room.
"Hey." he said coming into the kitchen and kissing Leigh on the cheek.
"Hi." Leigh said smiling.
Nick took her hand and started to pull her off.
"Nick! Don't be rude!" she said laughing, then she turned towards Jane.
"I will talk to you later, if Nick ever let's me." Leigh said, then walked off with Nick.
He lead her to the upstairs living room, and they both plopped down on the couch.
"So, what do you want to do?" Leigh asked.
"I don't know..." he said edging closer.
"Uh-uh. No kisses from me, till you tell me about this surprise." Leigh said confidently.
Nick shrugged, "Okay. I can wait."
Leigh made a face at Nick.
"Your a funny one." she said.
Nick tried to hide his smile, so he got up and turned on the Nintendo. Leigh got to play first and after 4 games, Nick was restless.
"Can I play now?" Nick said impatiently.
"No." Leigh said bluntly.
He went to grab the controller from her childishly, but she put it behind her back. He wrapped him arms around her, in an effort to get the controller. Leigh started laughing extremely hard. She fell onto her back, from laughing so hard, and Nick was on top of her.
"Still so easy to resist?" Leigh flirted, their faces inches apart.
"No.." Nick confessed as he leaned in to kiss her.
Leigh turned her head, so Nick kissed her cheek, then slid out from under him.
"Oh come on! You can't do this forever." Nick complained sitting up.
"Watch me. There is an easy solution, tell me!" Leigh badgered.
"It is a surprise for you, you will get it on your birthday, okay? I have everything planned out, so please be patient." Nick sighed, giving up.
Leigh smiled, "Did I ever tell you how sweet you are?" she said.
She moved closer so Nick could kiss her. She was just about to kiss him, when he moved.
"No thanks." he said, with a serious face, that slowly turned into a smirk.
"Oh, shut up and kiss me." Leigh said, starting to kiss him.
She suddenly pulled back, remembering something.
"What now?" Nick sighed.
"Um...what is Kevin really like?" she asked out of nowhere.
"What?!" Nick asked surprised.
"Well, what's he like. A good guy or a bad guy? Polite or rude? Ya know.." she said rolling her eyes.
"He's a really good guy. He is very nice, kind of quiet though. Why?" he asked, still lost by the conversation.
"If I tell you, you can never repeat it." she said fidgeting.
"I-" Nick said, but just then his cell phone rang.
He answered it, followed by a few okays, then hung up.
"I am so, so sorry. I have to go to Howie's house. I totally forgot about the meeting." he said apologetically.
"It's okay." Leigh said getting up.
She was just about to head downstairs, when Nick grabbed her arm.
"Yeah?" she said turning around.
He leaned in and softly kissed her lips. A smile spread across her face.
"No wonder why the girls swoon over you Nick." she said taking his hand and walking down to the front of the house.
They both said good-bye to Jane, then to each other. Then Leigh left to go home, and Nick to Howie's.
