Charlie invited me to an Angel's game on Friday night. We sat in the club level deep down the first base line. The Angels lost to the Chicago White Sox 8 to 5 so we didn't stay to watch the fireworks from our seats.
Sarah and I were down in Irvine for bible study. Before it started we went over to watch the sunset. After we took our pictures I walked down and saw what looked like a train heading our way. It took a few minutes until it finally passed by.
I went for a short walk with Sarah. Unfortunately, my camera is kind of old so there isn't an option to keep the shutter open for very long. This is the best it can do. It still looks pretty cool.
I parked in the far spot today and I walked to my apartment by passing the other group of apartments. Isn't it odd that a live tree couldn't hold itself up, but a dead tree could.
Sarah and I were invited to hear my friend Charlie preach at his church. I had never been to his church before but we decided to go. After the service in their old building we drove across the parking lot to where the new building is currently being built. The date of it's completion has been delayed.
Fifteen of us went to Dodger Stadium for Sarah's birthday party. During the off season the stadium had all new seats put in. We sat in the reserve section. The Dodgers were down 5 to 0. They had a strong comeback, but it wasn't enough as they lost 5 to 4 against the Diamondbacks.
For Sarah's birthday we went over to my Mom's house to have a party. My Mom made this chocolate cake for her. The edge of the game called Sequence is in the upper corner of the picture. We played that after we had cake and ice cream. Sarah and I were on the winning team both times.
