Divorce Me 5

< contextual info >
I was so upset because the ex-DH came over on Monday night and had an attack of the mean reds in front of me. I don't really blame her for that, and it only lasted five minutes, but it involved my having to confirm that I didn't want to get back together.
Saying it aloud, to her, destroyed me, it really did.

So it goes.

Maybe it took you to say it aloud to her to really, really confirm it to yourself too. I knew I didn't want my ex hubby back after he left, but I don't think I really, really knew it till the first time he asked if he could come back. And I felt like @#%$! telling him no, it was over and he couldn't come back.

Course, by the fifth or sixth time he asked me I had lost all compassion and laughed hysterically when he asked me. Then I hung up on him. And continued to laugh. But I am wicked :-)

it's tough now but you'll thank yourself one day. My first ex never really told me to bugger, and over a few years we kept getting back together (nothing at all to do with my persistence, honest like) and breaking up again and again, and in the end she had to announce her engagement to a man from Texas she'd met off the internet in order to get rid of me.

You know, I never had a clue she was bi.

bugger off, dammit. There should be an "off" in there, after the word "bugger"

I know, I know, I should be tough. But it's just so damn grown up.

Is that your real email? It always sounds rather graphically sexual to me. But there again I may merely be suffering from demand outstripping supply on that front. Ahem.

yes, that is my real email, although you can also use

You know, I've never thought either graphically sexual, but now I do. bugger. And I never worked out which one to stick on job application forms.
