Now Playing: Stupid neighbour's teev is way too loud

First time in ages that I had loads of things ready to blog (sad fucker, eh? ;D), and the lack of sleep caught up with me - zonked out at about half four today. Just woke up now, and will be back in the land of bye bye within an hour.
I love sleeping.

Sleepwatch: 3.5 hours

Man, I think sleep is overrated. I wouldn't do it if my body didn't force me. I'd prefer to stay awake and do things, reading, writing, surfing the internet, looking at po... news. Sleep is for the weak! Bah! But it's really, really good that you're sleeping again. I don't want to sleep, but I hated it when I had insomnia.

Sleep well Vanessa, I'm off to do the same.

I only ever had insomnia once, when I was seventeen and had scarlet fever. The reason I usually don't get enough sleep is too many things to do. My |genericjob| is the sort where you have to be there real early, whereas I'm a night person. My ideal time to go to bed is 4 or 5am, and to sleep for 14 hours or so. (mmmmm, duvet gooooooodness.)
The combination of the two (inflexible job, stubborn self) means I get no sleep. Bah! That's not right.

Oh Vic you big liar!! You got rid of me last night at about 11.30, said you were going to bed then!!

I love bed, I love sleep. I fall asleep anywhere if I am sitting for too long, and find it almost impossible to stay awake past midnight. I'm off to get a bath in a minute, and doubtless will fall asleep in it too. I agree with 14 hours a day as the ideal amount of sleep. Only thing is I am sure so much time spent with my face squashed into a pillow will guarantee premature wrinkles.

This has been resolved on the phone, needless to say I am not in the wrong (neither of us are).
