Kind of addicting though, thought I'd warn ya. Link: http://www.theskeletonshop.com/ Mood: Now Playing: Moonstruck Theme! Now when you call to have your pizza delivered, in a matter of minutes they'll be cooking it as they bring it to you!! Monday, 7 February 2005 Mood: Topic: All Other Stuff Well another super bowl has come and gone. It seemed like a pretty good game until the 4th quarter, when the Eagles made way too many mistakes, including poor clock management. Why they let the clock run and not go into a no huddle offense is beyond me. Did anyone else watch? Also, I thought the commercials were pretty drab, only a couple were slightly humurous. Overall, I felt a little let down, I was expecting more I guess. On another note the slow cooked super bowl chilli and cornbread (with jalepeno and sweet corn) turned out really good, along with those lil smokeys (tiny wieners) soaked in barbecue sauce all day. The food kind of offset the medicore super day spectacle. Wednesday, 2 February 2005 Mood: Topic: All Other Stuff Yes, due to popular demand, thousands of emails and phone calls... another game! Only for this one you will have to think a bit. I've seen similar ones like this where you have to know U.S. geography and guess the states. This one times you, gives you your average error in miles, and tracks what percentage you got right on the money. I got 62%, 114 miles average error and a time of 228 seconds on my first try. Link City Baby I couldn't quite get all those little goofy states in north east just right. And as always....enjoy! Friday, 28 January 2005 May be linked? At least 37? Yeah right, this happened before off the coast of Bermuda when the Navy was conducting similar tests....read on to this pathetic story WASHINGTON - At least 37 whales beached themselves and died along the North Carolina shore earlier this month soon after Navy vessels on a deep-water training mission off the coast used powerful sonar as part of the exercise. Although the Navy says that any connection between the strandings and its active sonar is "unlikely" - because the underwater detection system was used more than 200 miles from where the whales washed up - it is cooperating with other federal agencies investigating a possible link. Here's a LINK to the Bermuda story, there's a vid and some pics, kind of shocking, slanted a bit? maybe as it is an environmental group site. But hey, I think we have a problem here and our Navy's killing whales when it doesn't have to. Thursday, 27 January 2005 Mood: Now this story out of Los Anj-A-Leeze was strange off the bat, but as it evolves it gets even wierder. Now the D.A. my seek the death penalty in a case where the accused murder, who was originally attempting suicide then decided not to, ended up killing at least 10 people, now may be put to death?!?! L*I*N*K*Y Hey man, you can't kill yourself, that's ilegal, but we can kill you. *head scratcher* Mood: Now Playing: Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing, Oh Come All Ye Faithful ![]() While I'm not a devout Mormon, nor am I a Mormon hater, my perspective on This Story is that it's quite funny. I don't know if I'd take my company's marketing campaign quite this far, but it is a brew house, so they 'tend to fall into their own category of funny, campy, trendy, catchy names, labeling, packaging, etc. Nice slogan by the way, "Why Have Just One"?

You have 5 minutes to gather as many red dots as you can. Each red dot is wirth 1 point. If you manage to get all red dots from the stage, then remaining time is added to your score. Pick up blue dot for bonuses: extra points, extra time, no gravity or stopped wheels. You can pause the current game with Enter key. Have Fun!! Wednesday, 19 January 2005 Mood: Topic: All Other Stuff ![]() Whether it's considered right or wrong is not the point of this post. It's about a witness's account to an execution. An execution which occurred this morning in California. It's is an interesting read on the final phase of the death penalty process, when it comes down to "doing the deed", the people involved, the witnesses and their reactions to a criminal, a murderer paying the ultimate price. Here's the link A witness's account of Beardslee's execution

Secondly she's 23 with a "friend" who's male and 33. They just checked into a hotel room. A very sad and strange account. Here's the story.

Post Comment | View Comments (2) | Permalink | Share This Post Mood: Topic: All Other Stuff ![]() Well it was 41 degrees this morning!! The roads are sheets of ice. I had to go 30 mph on roads I usually travel about 60-65 mph on. The schools are opening 2 hrs. later than normal, probably to get a start on the melting ice. I'm hoping this is just temporary, as the moisture needs to stay around for spring and summer. I chuckle (a little) when the national news shows the midwest and east "freezing" with frigid weather conditions. They usually don't even acknowledge our frigid conditions, unless of course it's related to a joke of some kind. I guess they think either: A: Aww they're used to it. B: Nobody lives there anyway.

Updated: Tuesday, 18 January 2005 3:50 PM MST Post Comment | Permalink | Share This Post Tuesday, 11 January 2005 ![]() I knew it all along with your adolescent behavior you've demonstrated in the past. But last Sunday on national TV, when the Vikings squared off against Green Bay you really reemphasized just what an ass you are. Here's another opinion that really mirrors that of most people who watch the NFL. Quick synopsis: Randy supposedly hobbled by an ankle injury, bolted off the line of scrimage, totally blowing away the Green Bay defender to catch a pass for a touchdown, (nice catch BTW). After the touchdown, (keep in mind we're in Green Bay now) the ever so classy Sir Randolph Moss walks over to the goalpost and points his derrier to the hosting crowd and makes a mooning gesture at the crowd. I thought it would have been very appropriate for several fans to come unglued and pummel the gentlemanly Mr. Moss. But luckily the Green Bay fans showed more class and merely booed the arrogant Moss. Maybe Moss should undergo an interview by Dan Rather! Hey Danny U listenin? UPDATE: Well the Vikings lost, so we won't have the likes of Moss around (hopefully) until next year!! Moss was a non factor in the game catching 3-passes for 50 yds. One of them being a 15 yarder late in the 4th quarter when the game was out of reach.

Updated: Tuesday, 18 January 2005 7:26 AM MST Post Comment | View Comments (1) | Permalink | Share This Post Mood: Topic: All Other Stuff Well it's probably a case of too little too late for our pal Dan Rather. He's been slandering and harrassing folks on and off for most of his news reporting career. While he's been around all of my TV viewing life, I think overall on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate old Danny Boy a 6. And Dan I'm being generous here, so don't investigate me, ok? Here's the read regarding the Bush National Guard story that got 4 CBS'ers fired, and a spanking for Dan Rather. While this will put CBS news credibility in question for a little while, (cuz we all forget over time, don't we...) Poor Dan is being punished. He's being moved to 60-minutes. (Wasn't he there already?) Isn't this like throwing gas on the fire. Now Danny can focus his hard charging, voracious appetite to discredit, dismantle, and destroy peoples careers. While I do enjoy some of his reporting, most of it is a little over the top for me. On occasion he seems to enjoy undermining of America and it's values, just to sell a story. A little too much for me Danny. I'm expecting an Andy Rooney snippet on Dan when he debuts back on 60 minutes. (whiney voice) "What's all this I here about people picking on Dan Rather..."

Wednesday, 5 January 2005 Mood: Topic: All Other Stuff ![]() Of recent we've had the $25,000 winning bid for a cheese sandwich with the image of the Virgin Mary burnt into it, then the guy from Canada who had a fish stick with Elvis's image burnt into it. And now we have the burnt frying pan with the image of Elvis burnt into it. Too bad folks as the bidding has ended on this, and it only went for $25 AU, $19.13 U.S. !! Other lovely items include the Frog Skeleton ...simply amazing. And... one of my favorites, yes you can still submit a bid for Moose Poop Earings! very sadly to say they are NOT made in Montana. When will it stop! :)

Actually with the sun, it was quite nice. There weren't too many folks there. Many runs we had to ourselves. I think these are times my son and I will never forget.
