Well the last of the Northwestern University football (lost 56-7) team has been neatly scraped off of the Grizgrass at Wash/Griz stadium, as we welcome the New Hampshire Wildcats to an ass kicking, Montana style. While the Wildcats are 8 - 0 on the road, (impressive for any team), they have yet to experience a game in Missoula. The whole game day experience, with the loud crowd, awesome stadium, beautiful setting, Montana hospitality, and the altitude (Mwha ha ha ha!), oh and lest I forget, The Griz!!!!, should have the Wildcats running with their cat tails between their legs back to New Hampshire. ESPN2 will be broadcasting the game. Portable lights will be set up around the stadium for the later than normal start time of 2pm MST. So if you're going to the game make an ESPN2 sign if you want your mug on TV. Info on the enemy can be found here... New Hampshire Wildcat LinkThe folks at NH are making a bid deal out of the injury sustained by their all world reciever David Ball. He's out with a broken ankle. On the other hand their coach earlier in the week referenced trickery by both teams this season. While I feel for this Ball fellow if indeed he's out, I wouldn't put it past NH for this to be disinformation spin-o-rama, and Mr. Ball comes out of the tunnel this Saturday dressed and ready to rock. But that's me and my paranoia talkin. :) ROCK ON GRIZ !!!!

When the I-AA selection committee unveiled its playoff bracket Sunday, the Southland Conference champion Demons (8-3) drew a first-round matchup with the Big Sky Conference champion Grizzlies (9-2) in Missoula, where Northwestern's last two playoff appearances ended with losses in 2001 (28-19) and 2002 (45-14). Might as well make it 3 losses in a row Demons. Bring yer longjohns if ya got any, cuz it's gonna be cold on the sidelines, watchin us score. Demon Link

Northern Lights!
Did anyone see the northern lights Sunday night/early Monday morning? What a display here in Polson. They took up most of the sky from due east to due west and almost directly overhead. There were beams of light, light waves, and pusling light that constantly changed. From what I understand the show started around 9pm, we were up at 3:30am watching them, (dog had to go out). Here's a link on just this subject.... Northern Light Info They did appear again last night, but not quite as intense, and then the fog rolled in.

The University of Montana Grizzlies will be playing the Sacramento Hornets this Saturday at 12:05pm, at Wash/Griz stadium, Missoula, Montana and I can't wait! Just look at the stats....they don't add up...nothing does.... Sad Sac's Dismal Stats I can't wait for this for 2-reasons... 1. Sacramento beat the Cats last week. (Mwhaaa Ha Ha Ha!) 2. SAC's coach was whining last year that we ran up the score. Well coach, we're gonna run it up even more this year, so hang on to your aorta!!

It's NAU in Wash/Griz stadium this Saturday and I can't wait. It's been too damned long (well 2-weeks) since the Griz have been at home. It's always fun to experience the atmosphere in Missoula on game day. Hopefully Jason Murietta, their all world QB will continue to have problems or we're all hosed. If he has a break out game he'll destroy our weak DB's. Git Yer Scat Together Griz...and Kick some Jack Ass! Here's the most recent photo I could find of the NAU Jacks. It appears that they are due for an equipment upgrade. Tons of Info for the Upcoming Game

Election Results....

Now Playing: Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign!

...well the results are in, and overall pretty good results I think except for.... Brian Schweitzer (or however you spell it) won for Gov. I think our man was Bob Brown, but he's bald. Unfortunately, the uniformed vote for the prettier guy 9 out of 10 times. Brian don't touch my water rights, that'll really piss me off. Brian I hope your ties with Libya have long been broken. And really now what's this new Montana your pitching. You never really said. Are you gonna trash this beautiful place with industry? Prove me wrong Brian, but I think you're the wrong guy. Cyanide leach mining idiots went down in flames. I'm sure these out of state jack asses will be back again (for the 5th time) to try again in future elections. Gay marriage WTF? what a joke. That went down pretty easily. If yer gay, get the hell out of Montana... NOW!Medicinal Maryjane. I was surprised at this. Total bullshit if you ask me. I thought it should've failed. Now all the dopers will have a little bag in their glove box for trips to grandmas house for her "condition". Lake County trying to add a shit load of $$ to my property tax bill (again), cuz the police and crew want more money. The backers of this bill are either stupid or trying the bait and switch on the public. With the enormous growth our county has seen in the last few years, didn't people build a lot of houses? Aren't those houses assesed a property tax? Don't the coffers have more money than every before? Where did all that money go? SHOW ME THE MONEY! We currently get great support from the tribal police and state police Get it somewhere else dumbshits. The voter spoke big on shooting that initiative down. Thank you very much. It really pisses me off (more so as time goes on) that whenever a group needs money, i.e. teachers, police, whomever they beat on the property owners without a concious, they can alway bleed the property owners, HORSESHIT! GIT YER $$ ELSEWHRE, I AIN'T GOT NO MORE!!..and it looks like Bush will win. With the current messes we're involved with in the world, I thought it would be ashame to throw a new guy into the foray, especially Kerry. As Shania once told me...He don't impress me much. NOW ALL OF YOU POLITICIANS...PICK UP YOUR DAMN SIGNS!

How Long Will It Take ?
Mood:
quizzical
Topic: All Other Stuff
How long will it take the politicians to take down there election signs? On the following days after the elections, I always take note at the one's left standing. If that person happened to win the election, then I have little faith in them.
If they lost the election then I know the right person was probably elected. If they don't take the time or have no resources to take down their election signs, then they can be responsible enough to be in any type of public office.
TAKE DOWN YOUR SIGNS ! THEY ARE UGLY !

Griz Violated Via Vikes!
Mood:
irritated
Well PSU aka the Vikings, really sucked. Only we sucked worse...way worse with two, yes 2, 1st qrtr fumbles, 2 punts for about 5 yds each and 1 kickoff that went out of bounds. These boners combined with some questionable play calling by our obscure offensive coordinator, mixed in with some horrible coaching decisions, (i.e. run the clock out in the first half rather than have two chances at scoring), throwing the bomb on 3rd and long, and repeatedly throwing it short to open recvrs, that had to come back and battle for the ball, and becoming downright predictable as the game went on. Throw all this in a blender, press puree and Walll-lah! YOU HAVE A CONFERENCE GAME LOSS ~ Pathetic. Enjoy the game films Monday fellas....Mwhaaa Ha Ha Ha! Cuz you'll be watchin 'em ....all.....day.....Long! Hopefully the Griz can bounce back this week when they square off against Northern Arizona University.
