The Montana State Bobcats come to Missoula, Montana to take on the University of Montana Grizzlies at Washington/Grizzly Stadium. This will be the game of the week on a national level and of course the game of the year for the Big Sky Conference. I can't wait for this. While the Griz have won 17 in a row, the last two have been won by the bobcats. The Griz are really coming together at the right time. I suspect they'll have the cats couging up fur balls by the end of the first half.

Northern Lights!
Did anyone see the northern lights Sunday night/early Monday morning? What a display here in Polson. They took up most of the sky from due east to due west and almost directly overhead. There were beams of light, light waves, and pusling light that constantly changed. From what I understand the show started around 9pm, we were up at 3:30am watching them, (dog had to go out). Here's a link on just this subject....Northern Light Info They did appear again last night, but not quite as intense, and then the fog rolled in.

The University of Montana Grizzlies will be playing the Sacramento Hornets this Saturday at 12:05pm, at Wash/Griz stadium, Missoula, Montana and I can't wait! Just look at the stats....they don't add up...nothing does....Sad Sac's Dismal Stats I can't wait for this for 2-reasons...
1. Sacramento beat the Cats last week. (Mwhaaa Ha Ha Ha!)
2. SAC's coach was whining last year that we ran up the score. Well coach, we're gonna run it up even more this year, so hang on to your aorta!!

It's NAU in Wash/Griz stadium this Saturday and I can't wait. It's been too damned long (well 2-weeks) since the Griz have been at home. It's always fun to experience the atmosphere in Missoula on game day. Hopefully Jason Murietta, their all world QB will continue to have problems or we're all hosed. If he has a break out game he'll destroy our weak DB's. Git Yer Scat Together Griz...and Kick some Jack Ass! Here's the most recent photo I could find of the NAU Jacks. How long will it take the politicians to take down there election signs? On the following days after the elections, I always take note at the one's left standing. If that person happened to win the election, then I have little faith in them.

If they lost the election then I know the right person was probably elected. If they don't take the time or have no resources to take down their election signs, then they can be responsible enough to be in any type of public office.

Griz Violated Via Vikes!

Well PSU aka the Vikings, really sucked. Only we sucked worse...way worse with two, yes 2, 1st qrtr fumbles, 2 punts for about 5 yds each and 1 kickoff that went out of bounds. These boners combined with some questionable play calling by our obscure offensive coordinator, mixed in with some horrible coaching decisions, (i.e. run the clock out in the first half rather than have two chances at scoring), throwing the bomb on 3rd and long, and repeatedly throwing it short to open recvrs, that had to come back and battle for the ball, and becoming downright predictable as the game went on. Throw all this in a blender, press puree and Walll-lah! YOU HAVE A CONFERENCE GAME LOSS ~ Pathetic. Enjoy the game films Monday fellas....Mwhaaa Ha Ha Ha! Cuz you'll be watchin 'em ....all.....day.....Long! Hopefully the Griz can bounce back this week when they square off against Northern Arizona University.

While I did enjoy Martina McBrides rendition of the National Anthem last night during game 3 of the world series, what was with the announcement on the PA that F/A-18 Hornets would do a flyover, all we saw was Martina (not bad, although I've always insisted that her eyes are fake, they're too beautiful). We heard the jets flyover, but saw nothing. Kinda pathetic...Wouldn't it have been cheaper just to play pre-recorded F/A-18 jet engine sound? Ok, enough of that....
Now the jerry curls or whatever they're called from the 70's. Pedro get a frikin hair cut, you look just plain silly. While here's a comparison photo, his curly fries are even longer and appear to be dripping some EPA controlled oily substance. Lastly I must rant on Johnny Damon. OK, we all know that Damion was the little kid in the Omen that was possessed by the devil. Damion was not a nice kid. Strike 1. Next we have the first name of Johnny. Who are you trying to be Johnny Dep, wuts with the Johnny anywayz, that's a little boys name... it bugs me, so change your name back to John, OK? UPDATE: GAME 4 - Once again Fox sports screwed up the F/A-18 flyover. This time they showed a blank sky with the jet engine noise. A little better Fox only, a little better too late. LAME! Sox Win wahoo! Now everyone can switch teams for next year. Who will be Pedro's daddy next year!?! He is a free agent ya know.
