With any rp site, you need rules. Otherwise anything could happen, and that would take the fun out of it all. So find below the rules for Permanence. They're gonna be pretty much the same as any rp site, with slight variations due to the genre of rp.
OOC rules
out of character
These are the rules for when you are not rp-ing. Follow religiously! Or I shall send my flying monkeys to eat you!
1. Respect you're fellow rp-ers. It would make life hard if we had to sort out petty arguements because so and so said such and such a thing. Rp is an escape.
2. Do not bring IC arguements into OOC. Remember RP is make believe, it's not actually happening!
3. Do not bully! If you feel you are being bullied, contact an Admin immediately. We do not tolerate bullying, and the user will be banned immediately.
4. Have fun!
general IC rules
in character
These rules are for when you are in character and rp-ing.
1. There is a hierarchy. Make sure you are respectful to those members higher than you. This also means that members lower than you must respect you. Insubordination may be punished.
2. You do not need to pass any Initiation to gain entry to the pack, however you must see the Alphess or Beta Female for acceptance.
3. Fights are allowed. We know there cant always be enough people to judge the fight, so if any fights occur, let an Admin know so we can update the site.
4. Force-breeding is allowed, but be warned. It is frowned upon and you are likely to undergo a trial if you decide to do this.
5. Make sure the whelps are protected at all times. This is NOT just the job of the Pup Watchers.
6. Permission must be gained from the Alphess as to whether you can be mates or have whelps with another wolf.
7. Keep OOC arguements out of IC rp.
8. No male may hold a high ranking position unless their mate holds a position of equal or higher rank.

fight rules
for those brave enough!
Fight rp has its own rules too! Please follow these rules as they are very important. Warnings will be given if these rules are not adhered to.
1. Post should be fair. We operate a turn by turn fight basis. EG. Harry posts, then Garry posts, then Harry posts etc.
2. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Do not God-mode or Power-Play. If you are unsure of what these are, ask in the Help section of the forums, and someone will reply to tell you what they mean.
3. If you are on offensive and have made an attack, you cannot say whether you're attack found it's mark. It is up to the opponent to say how much damage was inccurred etc.
4. You are only permitted one full dodge per fight. This keeps the fight lively and exciting!
5. Preferably there should be a witness, but as said before, it may not always be possible.
6. Always state before the fight, what type of Spar it is. More information on types of Sparscan be seen on the Spars page.
