As it's a pack related RP site, here we have a hierarchy. This means, some members of the pack will be able to boss you about, and you may be able to boss others about. Simple, right? So here lies the structure of the hierarchy.

what do you have to do?
Here are the descriptions of your rank. They will tell you whether you can apply for the rank, and what exactly it is you have to do. It'll also give you an idea as to whether you have the qualities to take your dream job.
alphess and alpha
These are the top ranks, held by the leaders of the pack. The Alphess has the last say, and is more important than the Alpha. They keep the pack in order, and ensure that everything is ok. Their word is law.
This rank cannot be challenged for.
sub-alphess
These wolves are normally sisters or very close friends of the Alpha pair. They command the pack when the Alpha pair are not in the lands. They have a great deal of input into how the pack is run, and are basically mini Alphas.
This rank cannot be challenged for.
advisor
This wolf is almost always female, though there has been an odd exception if the wolf if extremely wise. This wolf is very knowledgeable and wise and is respected by all members. It is the wolf the Alpha team go to if they are unsure about anything, and the rest of the pack will talk to them about anything, their troubles or just for a chat. It is normally quite an old wolf with much experience, and is assigned by the Alphess.

beta pair
These wolves command the Warriors. They have great skill in battle, and have good leadership skills. They will train future Warriors, and they judge Spars. It is within the power of these wolves to hold Fighting competitions, to scout out talent and have a good time.

Gamma Pair
These wolves command the Hunters. It is their job to ensure the pack has enough food to get through Winter, and to make sure the Hunters are doing a good job. They will sometimes hold random hunting competitions, not only for fun, but to see if they're are any good hunters around.
This rank can be challenged for.
Delta Pair
These wolves are in command of the Healers. They are very wise in knowledge of herbs and plants, and know the land inside out for its rocks and plants. If there is something a Healer does not know, they will ask the Delta pair. They are often around at battles.
This rank can be challenged for.
head huntress and hunters
The Head Huntress keeps all the Hunters in check, organising hunting parties and assigning partners. If a Hunter has a problem, they will ask the Head Huntress before they go to the Gamma Pair.
The Hunters catch the food for the pack to eat. They are stealthy and have good endurance. They will never hunt for just themselves and always have the pack in mind. These wolves are not selfish.

head healer and healers
The Head Healer looks over the Healers, making sure they aren't accidentally poisoning their charges. She ensures that the herb stocks are full, and makes sure that they always have what they need.
The Healers look after wounded wolves, healing wounds etc. They are very kind-hearted and gentle wolves.
These ranks can be challenged for.
head warrioress and warriors
The Head Warrioress keeps the Warriors in line, making sure they don't go picking fights over nothing. She also judges fights, but cannot pass the final verdict on the winner.
The Warriors protect the pack from danger. They will fight to the death to save the pack, and are very loyal. They are strong both in mind and body.

head pup watcher and pup watchers
The Head Pup Watcher makes sure the Pup Watchers are doing their job correctly and protecting the whelps. They make fun activities for the whelps, and is very approachable.
The Pup Watchers protect the whelps of the pack, making sure no harm comes to them. They also keep them entertained, and if for some reason a wolf has to go on a journey, the Pup Watchers will look after their young. Very kind wolves, prefer to stay away from fighting, however if the lives of whelps are threatened they will fight to protect them.
These ranks can be challenged for.
mentors
A Mentor is a teaching wolf. Often a respected member within their own profession. They are greatly skilled and have the skills to pass on their knowledge to others.
These ranks can be challenged for.
apprentices
An Apprentice is a wolf currently learning from a Mentor. All teens wanting to go into a profession gain a Mentor, and they remain an Apprentice until the Mentor sees fit to release them. Adults may also be Apprentices.
These ranks can be challenged for.
omega
The Omega is the disgraced wolf. This wolf will have done something to anger the Alpha pair. This wolf should not be treated nicely. This wolf is also condemned to stay in the pack until the Alpha pair release them from their Omega status.
