Writing
What does it take to consider yourself a writer? Do you have to be published? Do you have to work at it everyday? I like to think of myself as a writer, but I don't have either of those qualities. I expressed this in my bio at www.authorzone.com , and I'm going to say it here. How can I even begin to compete with what's been written before my time. I feel almost as if there was a Golden Age of Writing and I missed it. I keep getting told that I have to keep working on writing, and eventually I'll get to where I want to be, but for how long? Writing a book or a story or a poem is a lot of work, and I don't always have time to do that. Ah well, there comes a point when you ask, "Can I really do this?"
