Montgomerians take over the once Indian Village as the pioneers clear a path for more settlers, coming from the American Revolution, long after DeSoto had explored Alabama. Books in our Archives state many married Native Americans and many were already mixed with the Native blood. During the Revolution, at the Fall of Charleston, mom's Peter Bozeman was captured as well as my dad's George Little. George went to Kentucky near Daniel Boone who's children intermarried and one named a son Powhatan. One married the granddaughter of Charles Weatherford who was in Alabama with Sehoy. Peter was in Alabama! Peter was first found in South Carolina by the several Weatherford brothers, McIntosh & McGillvary who mixed with Sehoy's children. Brother of George went to Texas, having a son fighting in the Alamo with Davy Crockett while another grandson of George was in Kentucky running for Public Office along with J. Cochran and U. S. Grant. Confused yet?
