This was written in response to a poem some one else I know wrote:

I wish I were your Juliet
The person that you wanted to hold close
To be with you every day
And love you no matter what happened
I wish I were the one recieving your flowers
Reciving your kisses
The one whose hand you held
The girl you told everyone about
I wish I had met you before I met him
Had you to love instead
being able to tlel you I had felt the same
I want to be with you instead of being alone
I wish I was the one you wrote peoms about
The person ALWAYS on your mind
costantly thinking about me when we're apart
And even more when we're together
I wish I was the one you loved now
Staying up late to talk on the phone
Sneaking out jsut to see me
And doing whatever it took to be with me
And I wish you knew how I feel
How I felt since we first met
Wanting to always be with you
And being jealous of all the other girls you're with

'Cause if you're the modern day Romeo
I want to be your Juliet
