When Stormy came to me, I was in physical therapy,
with little hope of being active ever again.
She gave me unconditional love and a reason to go on.
Each time I was ready to give up, with gentle nudges,
she would ask me to get up and try again,
because of her I did.
After I lost Stormy. I was so empty I felt I couldnt go on raising malamutes. Her grand daughter was due with a litter in only 2 weeks. I saw in that litter that Stormy's legacy will always continue to live on in all our puppies and dogs. Her loyality, devotion, love, gentle spirit and strong reasoning powers and intuition are alive in all our puppies, but there have been those that we see so much more of her in. We have had and hope to continue to have puppies that carry her understanding of what it is to be a therapy dog.Those are the ones we that we place to go into Therapy work.

Memories of Stormy

Eight years ago you found a friend; a special friend indeed. She was always there to help you through every time of need. She was there through all the good and bad; it didn't matter to her. She was faithful, dignified and proud, with beautiful red fur. Her bond with you was formed through love; she was steadfast, loyal and true But, she had so many other special traits, that she'd share with only you.

I only really met her once, but knew her just the same. We brought part of her home with us, Nikia Storm shares her name. Our Baby Skyla's like her too, in very many ways. Her voice, her hugs, her manners; there is something in her gaze. And though I met her just that once; I felt her loving heart.

When we left to bring our treasures home; I knew her spirit in our life, would forever share a part. It's hard to believe it has been a year since then; we've had so many wonderful days. And I know that much of it results, from them having her loving ways. Their yips, their moods, their actions are so similar I'm told. The stories of their antics are memories we can hold.

There is no doubt she was your girl; she will always be the best. She gave so much to all of us; it's now her time to rest. But, she left behind her legacy, for all of us to share. I know in my heart a part of her, will always for us be there.
