Real Macintosh Designs
This page will feature Macintosh computer form factor and hardware systems that we believe are very innovative. Currently, only the iMac is listed, but look for the iBook and other Macs soon.
The iMac (rev "C")
This sole machine is by many accounts, the reason behind Apple's recent amazing turnaround. 10 quick months of research and development is behind this modern-day wonder. Innovative design, low price and raw power being its most attractive traits. It's fast G3 processor, 6 MB of video memory and a large hard disk are an excellent combination for many people. All this is encased in a round, colourful, translucent body - with a handle. It is a winner, receiving rave reviews and getting worldwide attention. Thousands of iMacs have been sold - it sold the best in it's class for months! At first there was only the Bondi Blue iMac, but now there are five colours to choose from - Grape, Blueberry, Lime, Tangerine and Strawberry! Now, two PC computer makers are developing iMac look-a-likes!
