"Spoof Trek: The Second Cousin Twice Removed" is a Star Trek parody by Alex Kind and Rayne Radulovich.

Way back in the early nineties, there was a television show called "America's Funniest People" hosted by Dave Coulier and Arlene Sorkin. When they called for submissions of Star Trek themed videos for the show, a couple of Vancouver Film School (Class 14) alumni were inspired to produce this video. It was never used on that program but we had a lot of fun making it.

The laugh track was added years later for our own amusement... think of it as "The Special Edition."

Then in 2008, 15 years after the original version had been made,  the animated version of Spoof Trek was created.  This Flash animation uses the original dialogue audio tracks from the live version but doubles the running time with extra animation from 6 minutes to 12 minutes. See "Fun Facts" for more info.

And finally in 2015, Captain Kind and First Officer Rayne were reimagined once more, this time as CG characters, propelling Spoof Trek into the realm of 3D animation. Click the "3D Animated" button to check out their latest adventures.

We hope you enjoy watching Spoof Trek as much as we enjoyed making it.  Feel free to drop us a line with your comments or questions.
