Me and Ashley wanted to see the guys at Max for the first time so we begged her dad to take us and finally he agreed. Well the day it was supposed to happen, he was supposed to pick us up right after school cause the studio is really far away. Well when we got home like 30 minutes went by and he didn't come, so we called him and found out he was in Allentown. We said just get home and we'll go up anyway, thinking Grand Skeem might be there awhile. Finally we got on the road, and it was all good, and we heard that the Grand Skeem was running really late so we were mad stoked because we thought we were going to make it. Well, we were going up this one hill, and all the sudden this huge deer leaped out in front of us, and we're like holy shit...we came like 2 inches away from hitting it...seriously!! Then we got lost outside of Newton...then when we found it (her dad had a hunch it was the one way but it wasn't so we went the other way and thats where it was lol) we got lost inside of it!! Its confusing!! Finally, we found the studio (or at least we thought we did) and we went running aroundt he building and NO one was there at all, so we went downstairs and found some life and found out that was the Max communications office or something, so we were on the road again. The lady told us to go down this one street and go right, so we did, and we ended up in a dead end, so we went like 2 miles the other way, and finally after stopping at a bar for directions found it!! Well...it was empty, all except for Chaz and Mark, and we didn't get to see the Skeem :(
I wanted to go to the Pittsburg show, since I hadn't seen them perform yet, I only saw them at the mall and stuff, so I begged my mom to take me and she said yes. So the day of it I was all ready and everything and I came home and was rushed back out the door...we had to take my mom to the emergency room because she was breaking out with an illergic reaction!! She took some asprin with this other medicine (thats why you shouldn't mix stuff!) and her upper lip blew up and she looked like a monkey (it looked funny but it wasn't). She was pretty bad and we were at the hospital for a long time waiting for her to get better...as for the Grand Skeem concert...I hope everyone else had fun while I was at the hospital! But its my mom so you know how that is!
We got really, really lost after the Grand Skeem show in Allentown...we were supposed to go south and my mom went north. It was really foggy and raining a little and cold and we were talking to my dad asking for directions for awhile and we said we'd call back to check in...well our cell phone died so we couldn't!! It was like 1 in the morning, going on 2, and I was seeing signs that said "New York City, 2 Miles" but I didn't want to scare my mom so I didn't say anything...then we started running out of gas, and every gas station we went to was closed. People my moms age were giving us wrong directions...and my mom was crying because she didn't think we'd ever get home lol. Then we found a quick check or something and got directions from these teenagers!! And then we found a gas station and we finally made it home like 45 minutes later. We went like 50 miles in the wrong direction!! When we got home we found out my dad called the state troopers cause we never called back and he thought we got in an accident and my friend's mom was over and she was crying and everyone thought we were dead! Hahaha.
I wanted to go to New York to promote the guys really really bad because it was a chance to hang out with mad skeemers and we were getting a performance at the end and everything. Well I begged for a ride since they only had to take me up to the Delaware Water Gap...and they didn't really want me to go to New York alone but I'm like calm down there are lots of people going and we're taking a bus so nothing is going to happen. Well the day before I found out we were having a party that night and my parents would be wasted so they wouldn't be able to pick me up afterwards...and I asked lots of people if they think they'd be able to take me home but no one really could so there went that idea...
I hadn't seen the skeem in like forever, a few months, and then I heard about Zootopia and how there was going to be a bus going up there and tickets were only 15 bucks and I was mad happy and my dad said he would take us to the bus stop so everything was all good. Well, I made like a t shirt and posters and everything...I was all ready and I was even having a good hairday for like once in my life!! Life was good...then we got to the parking lot where everyone was supposed to meet and we were like 7 minutes early and no one was there I'm like ok...and then we went down to the Shamrock Hotel or whatever it was and asked the lady at the desk and she said that there was no bus meeting in front of the hotel and that its probably up at the bus station. So we went up there and of coarse no one came...we went back down to the hotel and we saw Kacie and Andrea so I was mad relieved that I wasn't dreaming that there was a bus lol. Well everytime a bus went by we were like yes thats the bus but of coarse none were...then Andrea talked to Bob and found out that there was no busdriver!! We're like what?!! There was no bus driver to drive the bus...so we didn't have a ride up there. Well my dad had "left" and I was afraid to call him because I knew he'd get mad if he just dropped me off and had to come pick me up. So I asked my friend to call her dad and ask him to pick us up but we both knew he didn't know where Stroudsburg was and plus he wasn't home. Andrea's dad said he would let us go back to his house but her mom was sleeping or something and that I should really call my dad and tell him to pick us up. I was about to cry. Then I see my dad at the gas station next door and I'm like, I must be dreaming. It turns out he had a "feeling" that something was ganna go wrong so he came back. Well I wanted to stay around because I had a "feeling" that someone was going to take us up but my dad said thats it there is no bus so lets go and so we did. Well it turns out that like 15 minutes after we left Andrea's dad took them up there. You could never believe how shitty I felt!!!
