LOCATION:

ECKERD COLLEGE is located in south St. Petersburg at 4200 54th Ave. S.  Traveling from Tampa/Clearwater travel south on I-275 and take Exit 17. Traveling from South Florida take I-275 north, cross the Sunshine Skyway bridge, and then take Exit 17.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE:

 Arrive between 10:00 – 2:00 Sunday, June 10. Be picked up Wednesday between 3:00 – 4:00 pm. MEALS begin Sunday Evening.

DAY STUDENTS: (Daily Schedule) Classes Begin: 8:00AM & Dismissed 4:00PM. Evening Activities: 7:00-9:00 PM (Day students invited but not required to attend Evening Activities). Meals not provided by Eckerd College. Most Day Students bring bag lunch & buy soda/snacks at Camp Store.
COST:

$290.00 includes instruction, lodging, and meals. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED! Only cash, MONEY ORDERS, or CASHIER'S CHECKS. DAY STUDENTS pay only $165.00 and may bring lunch or buy lunch in cafeteria. (Official High School  & Band Parents Association Checks are accepted).

DISCOUNT RATES FOR ENTIRE CORPS  WHO PAY WITH ONE CHECK:

Large groups who bring at least l0 members from their unit will receive a $5.00 discount for each person if the camp fee is paid with ONE CHECK for the entire group. This discount is given because of the time saved in registration. (Discount not available to groups whose 10 members pay individually.)

SPONSOR DISCOUNT:

Band Directors, teachers, sponsors are invited to attend camp. Any school with as many as 20 campers attending camp may send one sponsor FREE. Additional sponsors may attend for $165.00 each. Sponsors are always welcomed however groups are not required to bring a sponsor.

REGISTRATION:

Overnight students fill out and mail application blank along with $190.00 deposit before deadline of May 25, 2007. Pay balance of $100.00 on camp arrival. Day students send $100.00 deposit and pay balance of $65.00 on camp arrival. Please make CASHIERS CHECK and MONEY ORDERS to Penny Janowski. Late applications will be accepted ONLY if space is available.

AGES:

Twelve (12) to twenty-one (21).

WHAT TO BRING:

Alarm clock, twin bed sheets, pillow, blanket, towels &   wash cloth, soap and other toilet articles. Flags, rifles, drums, practice clothes (shorts &   tennis shoes), poncho or raincoat, bathing suit, sunglasses, and spending money  for snacks.  DRUM MAJORS need tape recorders & blank tapes for class, but will not bring instruments. SYMPHONIC BAND CAMPERS BRING INSTRUMENT. LEADERSHIP CAMPERS ONLY BRING INSTRUMENT IF PLANNING TO PLAY WITH SYMPHONIC BAND..

SKIT NIGHT:

 Most schools enjoy performing funny skits on Tuesday evening.

CAMP

EVALUATION:

Groups who have prepared home routines for camp will be evaluated the first night of camp. This evaluation is primarily for groups, not individuals. DRUM MAJORS, however, who have prepared a home routine can request evaluation.
