The next Laceration Concert will be announced soon.

September 15, 2002
Laceration played with some band at the Edge, it was a free show. Overall Laceration did really well, they all sounded good. The other band had some good music but were lacking in there lyrics and vocals. As of right now this was Derricks last show with Laceration.

This was submitted by Audra Twyman: Here's a summary of Saturday Night Metal Show. The show was pretty awesome.Laceration was THE BEST band there.I skipped work to go to that show, and to say the least, it was MORE than worth it! They we're invited by fellow second timer's Demyze, and they played 8 songs, and Impresively enough, none were cover songs.A few other bands were there, but weren't good enough to note. But, there was a pretty good joining band Synesthesea(a Tool cover band), who got recognition. All in all, it was a pretty good Show, dumb ass punk-pop bands and all. ~*Audra*~

The concert was supposed to have Laceration opening and then like 4 other bands playing, the cost was $8. But when the doors opened it was announced that the only band that showed up was Laceration, i think im starting to see a pattern here. Is Laceration just really good about showing up for shows or are other bands really bad about showing up? Well anyway they changed the price to $3 and most of the people paid and went in. Once again the cops showed up, but this time the concert was already over. Laceration played their newest song that they made up the day before the concert, called "PasteMuffin". Overall it was an ok show, but we all need to tell bands that they have to show up for their concerts!

The concert started out with Aardvark who were pretty good but only played 3 or 4 songs, then there was another band i didnt catch the name of. Laceration was next, they played all their songs including United We Stand, which they havent played in a long time. It wasnt their best performance but the vocals sounded better than usual. Then another couple bands played that were pretty good, and last was Demyze. Demyze did an awesome job and me and a few members of Laceration had an awesome time moshing to their music. Overall it was one of the best concerts ive been to in awhile.

Today Laceration played at the Edge in Augusta, some other bands were supposed to show up but*suprise*, none of them did so Laceration played alone. Derrick, one of the singers, was sick, so he couldnt perform at this show, but he is now back. Eric and Darren both did backup vocals to make up for Derricks absence, and they both sounded great. But besides that the concert went well, there was some good moshing, and after they played all their songs they basically had a practice, just to make it more worth their fans money. After the concert, a bunch of people just hung out outside, and then the cops showed up for the first time that nite, 2 cruisers at once, but they didnt do anything. So all in all, it was a good concert, but it could have been better.

Laceration played at Good Vibrations all alone, until the cops showed up and stopped it for being "too loud", they said it was "good music, but a bad place". So the Concert was moved to Beth's Basement, where it went great UNTIL some old lady freaked out and complained, which caused the power to be shut off mid-song.
