Maglev trains are also environmentally friendly. Since they would reduce the need for cars, there would be a reduction in the growth of care exhaust emissions. Before today's world becomes even more chaotic, maglev trains could reduce the growth of vehicle traffic, air pollution, and congestion. Noise pollution would also decrease since the trains are much quieter than cars and trucks. The floating vehicles have no friction with the ground, and the only sound they make is a whooooosh due to air friction.
Safety is not an issue with maglev trains. Elevated guideways are above any obstacles on the ground. The magnetic fields of the propulsion systems don't allow trains to get near each other, making train collisions impossible. However, those same magnetic fields would cause no health hazards. They are minimal, and not harmful. In fact, the Earth's magnetic field is much stronger than that of maglev trains.
