JULY 19, 1999

Billboards: Destiny's Child drops down from #1 to #2. Will Smith was the most imrpoved song in sales; therefore, passing Destiny's Child as the #1 song. However, Bills, Bills, Bills was the most improved song in airplay, which is really good. Destiny's Child's other threat is Christina Aguilera, who moves up from #4 to #3.

MTV: Bills, Bills, Bills enters the countdown at #17. Smash Mouth tops the countdown with All Star, while 702 and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are at #2 and #3. Destiny's Child should improve next week. No, No, No peaked at #3.

MUCH MUSIC: Bills, Bills, Bills was the highest debut, landing at #24. They are also the choice cut for this week. Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Will Smith take the top three places. Destiny's Child should improve a lot next week as well, and only has Christina Aguilera as a threat. She entered the countdown at #26.

BET: The video for Bills, Bills, Bills moves up from #3 to #2 this week. They should reach the top spot next week, as Case has already been #1 for three weeks. That video, of course, features Beyonce.

Fabulous 40: Bills, Bills, Bills goes from #6 to #7. Christina Aguilera passes them by moving up from #8 to #5. Airplay still has to improve, otherwise Bills, Bills, bills will probably peak at #6 and disimprove next week. Will Smith is at #1, Backstreet Boys at #2 and Jennifer Lopez at #3.

R&B Countdown: Destiny's Child remain at #1 for three weeks. They are #1 by a wide margin still; however, Will Smith is at #2 and can reach #1 next week. Other than that, Destiny's Child has no threats for the top spot. Ginuwine moves up from #20 to #9 and Eve & Nokio move up from #22 to #15.

R&B Billboards: Destiny's Child are #1 for three weeks. Will Smith is at #2, Whitney Houston at #3, with 702 and Blaque at #4 and #5.

Destiny's Child also entered the British countdown at #6. Of course, No, No, No peaked at #5 a couple of summers ago. Ricky Martin remains at #1.

JULY 14, 1999

Destiny's Child are nominated for one award in the Seventeen Magazine awards. They are nominated for breakout artist/group of the year. Vote for them by going to the Seventeen Magazine. They are against Britney Spears, The Roots, Next, 98 Degrees, DMX, Eminem, and 'N Sync.

JULY 10, 1999

I have added all the songs featured in their second album, Writing's On the Wall. I will add the lyrics to the songs as soon as possible.

JULY 5, 1999

Billboards: Bills, Bills, Bills move up from #11 to #2!!!! It is the greatest gainer in sales. It is their highest place ever in Billboards, as No, No, No peaked at #3. Jennifer Lopez is #1 with If You Had My Love. Pearl Jam, Ricky Martin, and Whityney Houston are #3, #4, and #5. Except a big jump from Christina Aguilera next week, as she moved up from #61 to #12. Bills, Bills, Bills has a slight chance to reach #1 next week; however, Jennifer Lopez, at the moment, is too strong.

BET: The video for Bills, Bills, Bills entered the countdown at #8. It is their highest place ever in this countdown as No, No, No and With Me did not make the top ten. Eve & Nokio are at #1 with What You Want, Holla Holla, Ja Rule at #2, and Case with Happily Ever After at #3.

Fabulous 40: Bills, Bills, Bills is the second greatest gainer this week. It moves up from #18 to #10 after only three weeks in the countdown. Bills, Bills, Bills is at #2 in sales; however, airplay is still quite low. Request the song, or else it might have difficulties improving next week. Once again, Christina Aguilera is the greatest jumper, moving up from #35 to #8. Jennifer Lopez is at #1, Backstreet Boys at #2, and Will Smith at #3.

R&B Countdown: Destiny's Child have their second #1 song, as Bills, Bills, Bills reaches the top spot after only seven weeks. It knocked out Maxwell for the top spot. At the moment, Bills, Bills, Bills has no threats for the top spot and it should be at #1 for several weeks.

R&B Billboards: Once again, Destiny's Child have their second #1 song, as Bills, Bills, Bills takes over top spot from Maxwell. It too has no real danger for the top spot. Case is at #3 with Happily Ever After.

JUNE 28, 1999

Bills, Bills, Bills is the most improved song this week in the Fabulous 40. It moves up from #89 to #18. This is what they said about this song: "Zooming 89-18 on this week's big chart and the Greatest Gainer is BILLS, BILLS, BILLS. The latest from Destiny's Child opened to heavy sales in most of the major marts including New York City, Philadelphia, Detroit, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, San Diego, Baltimore, Sacramento and Charlotte. The disc enters the sales chart at No.6 and rockets 20-2 on this week's PHAT 50." Jennifer Lopez is at #1, Ricky Martin at #2, and the Backstreet Boys at #3.

In the R&B countdown, Bills, Bills, Bills move up from #20 to #2. Maxwell has been at #1 for seven weeks. Destiny's Child have a great chance to go to #1 next week, already after only six weeks of being released. Sporty Thievz with No Pigeons are at #3.

JUNE 26, 1999

The Bills, Bills, Bills single moved up from #52 to #11 in the Billboard singles countdown. It is their second top ten retail hit in Billboards, following No, No, No. However, their airplay is currently quite low, therefore, it is at #11 for this week. REQUEST THE SONG!!!! It should be able to make top ten next week. Jennifer Lopez is at #1, Ricky Martin at #2, Pearl Jam at #3, Whitney Houston at #4, 98 Degrees at #5, Backstreet Boys at #6, Maxwell at #7, TLC at #8, 702 at #9, and Sixpence None The Richer at #10.

In the R&B section of Billboards, Bills, Bills, Bills is at #2. It might and probably will be their second #1 song following No, No, No. Holding it out of the top spot is Maxwell with Fortunate. Case is at #3, Chante Moore at #4, and 702 at #5. Destiny's Child's only threat for next week will most likely come from Whitney Houston with It's Not Right But It's Ok. It was the most improved single in retail for last week and is at #7 this week.

I'll keep you posted on Bills, Bills, Bills improvement in the Fabulous 40, which is usually updated Sunday morning. Bills, Bills, Bills should be the most improved song for the week and it should make it to the top five in the R&B countdown.

REQUEST the video in MTV, Muchmusic, and BET.

JUNE 20, 1999

In the Fabulous 40, a countdown which includes both retail and airplay, Destiny's Child entered the countdown at #89. This is what they have to say about it: "Debuting at No.89 is the hot new release from Destiny's Child, BILLS, BILLS, BILLS. The single is in stores now with spot reports indicating sales are heavy in Houston, Detroit, Norfolk, Richmond and Sacramento, among others. The track is No.20 on this week's PHAT 50 R&B SINGLES survey." The current #1 song is Jennifer Lopez, If You Had My Love.
