SOME MORE HUGE NEWS! Destiny's Child is featured in a new soundtrack called Why Do Falls Fall In Love? Their new song is called Get On The Bus. Also featured in the soundtrack is Mint Condition, Next, Lil' Mo, Coko, and the two singles which have already been released Melanie B featuring Missy Elliott - I Want You Back, and En Vogue - No Fool No More. The soundtrack has already been released. Buy it today.

AUGUST 25, 1998

I finally saw the single for With Me. It has now been released in Canada. I don't know if it is out in USA. There are three different versions of With Me and Second Nature is the bonus song. If you haven't bought it already, please do.

AUGUST 22, 1998

Destiny's Child performed in Tucson, Arizona for a back to school concert. It started at 7:30 PM. It was $15. Another male group was the opening act. After they performed, Destiny's Child were interviewed on the radio. This happened on August 22.

AUGUST 11, 1998

Destiny's Child will be performing with LL Cool J, K-Ci & JoJo, and others in Birmingham and in London sometime in early September. I will get the exact dates later on.

AUGUST 8, 1998

No No No remains at #36 in the R&B countdown. With Me remains at #12 in the BET countdown. They have fallen out of every other countdown. Hopefully, with Illusion, they will start making the countdowns once again.

Jagged Edge is doing very well right now with their latest single Gotta Be. They entered the Billboards at #23 and in the Fabulous 40 at #37.

AUGUST 7, 1998

Unfortunately, this concert has just been cancelled. No one knows why it was cancelled but it was. Destiny's Child was supposed to perform at the world famous Wembley Arena on August 27! Also appearing that night was supposed to be LL Cool J, K-Ci & JoJo, Montell Jordan, and Dawn Robinson from En Vogue.

AUGUST 5, 1998

In the countdowns for August 5th, With Me remained #12 in BET. They also went out in the Fabulous 40. No No No is still #39 in USA.

AUGUST 2, 1998

Destiny's Child next single will be Illusion. Their debut album, Destiny's Child has received gold status.

AUGUST 1, 1998

This is HUGE NEWS!!!! Destiny's Child leads the nominees for the fourth annual Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards. The Columbia newcomer scored four nominations: best R&B/soul single by a group, band, or duo; R&B/soul album of the year by a group, band or duo; R&B/soul or rap song of the year; and best R&B/soul or rap new artist. Other multiple nominees are Janet Jackson and Erykah Badu, with three each, and Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, SWV, and Changing Faces, with two each. In addition, Chaka Khan will receive the Lena Horne Award for career achievement, and Mariah Carey will receive the Aretha Franklin Award for entertainer of the year. They will be on September 3 on Fox-TV.

Other HUGE NEWS too!!! This is info on Radio Concert. In the concert is supposed to be Mariah Carey, NEXT, Montell Jordan, Monica Whodini, Destiny's Child, Tamia, Mary J. Blige, Missy, JD, Da Brat, Peter Gunz and Lord Tariq, and Mase. The time is Noon-6 p.m. August 29 and the place is Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View. Prices are $32.50, $42.50 at BASS.
