National Botanical Garden

When Connie Pearson worked on Capitol Hill many years ago, she used to duck into the botanical oasis next the the Capitol on cold days.

The National Botanical Garden was recently rebuilt (except for the stone facade). The womenfolk of the family spent a couple of hours there and at the Natural History Museum.
