Family Christmas Album - 2001
Anne Hernandez gives some loving help to sister Vanessa,
who is hanging an ornament (we're not sure why...it's not her
house. Maybe she didn't like the one she got as a present). Cousin
Amy Pearson gets ready to sort presents under the tree.
It's a cousin crush! Greg Pearson and Dad Barry were
outnumbered (and out-talked!) by the female contingent in the
family. The other male cousin, Sean Lynch Randall, was spending
Christmas with his Dad in Arizona. Also missing from the "crush"
is Elizabeth Hernandez who opted to stay home with a sick child,
her three-year-old son Jarrod.
A typical Christmas involves making lots and lots
of things that contain lots and lots of sugar. To sustain the
marathon Christmas bakers, Krispy Kremes doughnuts come to the
rescue! The fruit and nuts are just for looks. Nobody eats them
until all the cookies, candy, and cakes are gone. Two hours into
our visit, Anne Hernandez and Aunt Connie were tired of Aunt Kate's
incessant picture-taking. Well, at least they let their tongues
take a break from talking! Sheesh!
Family Motto:
SIT LONG...TALK MUCH...EAT SOMETHING ELSE...AGAIN
Meanwhile...the quieter members of the clan (that
would be the MEN), enjoyed a little fire-in-the-belly Male Bonding
Experience. That would, of course, involve pain and gritting of
teeth...but no snarling or growling (it's Christmas!).
