A Twelfth Night Hearth-warming

Kate Lynch and son Sean Randall
rented a house in Tacoma, Washington, and moved on December 1,
2001. Because both Kate and Sean were visiting family in two different
places (Virginia and Arizona) for Christmas, they decided to celebrate
Christmas together and with friends on January 6, 2002 - 12th
Night - officially the last day of the Christmas season.
Warming by the hearth are, from
left: Erica Hendrickson, Marcia Henning, and Sandy Cagle.

Visiting friends included Susie Elwanger,
Jill Hanks, and Donn Moyer.

Paula Smith, Kate's supervisor, made
the beautiful wreath out of dozens of glass ornaments.
She's talking to Kate's friend, Sam
Cagle. Paula and Kate work for the Washington State
Department of Health, Division of Drinking
Water.

Sean spent time playing computer games
with buddy Eric Hendrickson
(Eric's mom, Erica, was in the first
picture).

One of the rare moments our dog Padmé
was found sitting still.
She was waiting for a dog biscuit. Good
woofie!
OK...she DOES look like Cujo, especially
with those spacey
eyes from the camera flash.
