POSITIVE LIFE RADIO

December 2010 UPDATE:
This school year I am teaching 3 Drafting classes at HomeLink and have opened the new computer lab, where I am teaching Graphic Design, Digital Art Studio, CADD and Basic Computer Skills. The Old Schoolhouse magazine has long been a friend of mine, and through them I found Landry Academy and will be teaching for them starting this next summer! I am very excited about this as it opens up the possibility of teaching to students all around the globe!

In 2008-2009, my 4th year at HomeLink, we had outstanding results from my 2nd year Drafting and Design Students! They took our existing HomeLink building (and a couple of neighboring buildings as well!) and turned it into a Pilgrimage Center! (all on paper of course!) We studied cathedrals, pilgrims, relics and used that information to dream BIG! So, although you may not see new Unit Studies posted on this site yet, I have been busy test-driving them in real teaching situations, and I am working to get some of my lessons into written form. So if you see something that interests you, please email me for more info and the status of any specific study you would like. I have been teaching them to mid-high and high- school students and that has helped me to see what works for each age group and give you better recommendations.

How did Prince Prints come to be?

I wanted to be an architect since my family built a house in 1984. With God's help I made it through architecture school at the
University of Washington,
graduating in 1997 with 5-year-old and 3-DAY-old daughters!

I worked for a year or so, but felt torn between family and career. God made the decision for me, sending us to Kentucky where HOMESCHOOLING became our best option! WOW! What a change! We're no longer in Kentucky, but we are still home schooling. In fact, we are completing our 9th full year at home!

For the past 5 years I have been blessed to work part-time in a design office, and for 4 years I have blessed by HomeLink, a private educational services company. I have been teaching homeschool students in Architecture, Drafting and Design, Algebra, Geometry, Creative Writing, and Trade Prep classes! The students bring me joy and challenge simultaneously!

This site is a place for people of ANY age to come and learn about architecture. I will be adding information this summer now that I have some extra time so check back often.

Stop by, make yourself at home, and take a look around!
