So you have decided you want a longer poem? Or do you like Poetry? I hope so..

To Create Poetry for your card, browse through the poetry I have. (Sorry at the moment, there isn't much) Left click, drag your mouse and highlight the poem. You should see an outline covering the poem. Go to your edit button above, select copy. The poem is now saved for your card. When your ready to write your words on your card hit your ctrl + the letter v, this will paste it. Now you will have a nice verse on your card.

There are a few poems below, select one you like. Remember these are copywrited and are designed only for reading, and for your card.
Also longer poems can be saved for cards in just verses, a section of the poem. An example of this would be hugs..save only the first 2 verses for a friend.

Angels

"I believe there are angels among us,
sent down to us from somewhere up above.
They come to you and me in our darkest hours,
to show us how to live,
to teach us how to give,
to guide us with a light of love."

---Alabama, "Angels Among Us"

Hugs

"There's something in a simple hug
that always warms the heart.
It welcomes us back home
and makes it easier to part.

A hug's a way to share the joy,
and the sad times we go through,
or just a way for friends to say
they like you because you're you.

Hugs are meant for anyone
for whom we really care.
From your Grandma to your neighbor,
or a cuddly teddy bear.

A hug is an amazing thing--
it's just the perfect way
to show the love we're feeling
but can't find the words to say.

It's funny how a little hug
makes everyone feel good;
in every place and language,
it's always understood.

And hugs don't need new equipment,
special batteries or parts--
just open up your arms
and open up your heart."

Missing You

(The underlined words can be substituted for appropriate words for your card)

I love you Hon with all my heart,
No matter how far we are apart.

But the hardest part is I miss you,

and for this reason I cry each night
I want so much to see your smile bright
I want to hold you in my arms
to laugh, to talk the whole night long.
So in my Dreams I think of you
I wish you best
and wish my Dreams were true.

So with this card I'm telling you,
How I feel inside.
I wish you were here
with me tonight.

Love—

Love is..
Love is sharing, knowing, caring,
Love is quietly standing by,
Love is listening, holding, helping,
Love is blind, and asks not why.

Love is a kiss.... for no reason,
Love is just reading your child a book,
Love is helping with the housework,
Love is sometimes... just a look.

True love doesn't need a season,
Cards can say so very much,
Gifts aren't needed to say I Love You,
You can say it with the right words
and simply with a touch!

I love You..

A Game

Thats right, not a poem this time.
Do you ever need to hear your partner tell you that he or she loves you? ..and yet, the words I love you..seem over played? Here is a simple game, and yet a nice way to tell each other those words but without the phrase. I think of it as a card game. What you do is make a commitment between your partner and yourself to write a card at least once per week and on each of the cards you or your partner must say something different about how you love your partner. You probably live in the same house right? Think its a bit simple sending a card by email even though your next to each other? You will be surprised at its rewards. Each card must be different and each saying must be unique. Its a strategy game and often helps you realize not only, the love you feel for your partner, but the love your partner feels for you. Also the words are your own.
