Chapter 4
Around noon she finally woke up. She didn't hear anyone on the nus but found Kevin sitting in the kitchen area quitly he was so deep in thought he didn't even notice her walk in.
"Hi Kev" Jessica said snapping Kevin back to reality.
"Hey Jess you finally awake?"
"Yup and hungry too." saying this Jessica sat down at the already made breakfast.
"Jessica can I ask you something?"
"Shoot." Jessica said while looking out the window.
"What did you mean when you said one mroe disapointment wouldn't make a difference?"
"I don't wanna talk about it." Jessica said almost before he could finish.
"Well we need to or you can't leave until you do." Kevin said seeing her give in.
"OK. If only you knew of my old life. I felt very unwanted there. My parents thoughts that I was happy, jusy fine but I wasn't. I hated my life. I was to the point of suisice when you practically rescued me. I had to try twice as hard as everyone else to get good great play in the marching band. But no matter how hard I tried it seemed I could never please anyone. Not my parents nor my friends. It seemed as if everyone wanted me to be something I wasn't. Then you came. Finding out I was adopted was the greatest day of my life. The rest of the guys are like the 4 big brother i never had. And to tell you the absolute truth if you had come a day later you would not have a daughter. THe day I met you I had found my parents sleeping pills in the cabinenet and had them hidden under my bed in my room. I had planned to commit suiside that night. But after the news and so on I descided not to. When I first came on the bus I could tell no one really wanted me there with Nick completely ignoring and avoiding me and everything. But after awhile I think he started to think of me as one of his little sisters. Like I took the place of them. To Brian & A.J. I was the sister they wished they had. And for Howie I think I took the place of his sister that died. Her name was Caroline wasn't it?" Kevin nodded waiting for her to continue or say that was all. But she continued on, "Anyways the part about the disapointments was that alot of people used to get my hopes up relly high and leave me hanging there for awhile and found it amusing to watch me fall very hard. Thats happened alot to me in my lifetime. That's why I totally understand as to why I have to go back. I knew that this day would come. I'm even surprised you've kepy me this long." Jessica said with a little laigh to herself.
"I would love to say that you can stay on tour with us but its getting to hard to hide you anymore. And now when you go back with your parents I'll have to be worried about getting a hpone call from them."
"First of all there not my parents. You are. And now that I have you guys to live for don't even worry about me and suiside."
"Promise?"
"Promise. But now you have to promise me something."
"ok shoot."
"You will have to come visit me whenever you can. But if you can't make it please don't call at last minute saying you can't come. Because if oyu don't call im automatically asuming your coming. Unless you get held in tr affic and are going to be late that the only reason I want to get a call from you ok?
"That a promise"
"Ok. Well I had better get packing."
"OK I'll come check on ya after soundcheck."
And with that the two went there seperate ways.
