MLDR uses the classic Dbz Rpg fighting style
Example:
If you want to Kick your opponent you would type:
::kick::
::hit::
If you want to punch your opponent you would type:
::punch::
::hit::
Dodging/Blocking Attacks
To Dodge an attack you must type ::dodge:: before the attacker types ::hit::
Example:
Goku: ::punch::
Vegeta: ::dodge::
Goku: ::hit::
This is an example of a succesful dodge. If the attacker manages to type ::hit:: before you type ::dodge:: than the dodge is unsuccessful and the damage is dealt.
Example:
Goku: ::punch::
Goku: ::hit::
Vegeta: ::dodge::
There are also other ways to avoid an attack, such as Blocking. Dodging and blocking are the same thing, but 2 different ways to stop an attack.
The last way to avoid an attack is fading. You need to type ::fade:: before the attacker types ::hit:: And before you can make another action, you must type ::appear::
Example:
Goku: ::kiblast::
Vegeta: ::fade::
Goku: ::hit::
Vegeta: ::appear::
Fades are always successful (meaning if you type fade, you fade), but they work like dodging and blocking. So if the attacker types ::hit:: before you type ::fade:: than the damage is dealt, but you still fade.
Example:
Goku: ::kiblast::
Goku: ::hit::
Vegeta: ::fade::
Vegeta: ::appear::
Charging Attacks
Many attacks require charges since they are so strong. To find out if a certain attack requires charges, go to the "Moves" page. Each attack that requires charges gives a number of how many charges it requires. If an attack requires 2 charges, than you would need to type ::charge:: twice. If an attack requires 3 charges, than you would have to type ::charge:: 3 times etc.
Example:
Goku: ::charge::
Goku: ::charge::
Goku: ::eye laser::
Goku: ::hit::
