Ever since I started to notice my VHS player waring out from dubbing together one too many WWE wrestling matches, I have decided to buy all my future videos as DVD. The advantages to this format are obvious, but for speciality DVDs like anime and pro-wrestling, sometimes you get crappy if any liner notes. Maybe I am weird because I prefer to have some kind of guide with me instead of just hitting the chapter skip buttons cluelessly, but since I am sure there are others just like me, I have designed my own liner notes for the discs that need improvement.

To download and print these notes:

  1. Right click on the liner note image.
  2. Select "Save Picture As...".
  3. After saving the file, open the picture in a viewer.
  4. Using a color printer that has photo paper and a photo cartridge, select print from the viewer's file menu.
  5. Cut the picture out of the print out.

Neon Genesis Evangelion Collection 0:1

Perhaps this does not apply for the box set release of this series on to DVD, but the first Evangelion collection's liner notes suck. All they feature are the box art from the second VHS release for this series on one side, and ads for the first DVD titles released by ADV Films.

The liner notes I have developed are rather simple. I have placed the chapter listing of this DVD over the image of the second VHS released featured in the original liner notes and I have also placed the chapter listing over two Evangelion postcard I found a few years ago in London.

I guess all I can say now is to select the one(s) you think is best fitting for you. Just click on the thumbnail and the image will appear in its own window. Then follow the above directions. Hope you enjoy^_^
