Blitz Ball
Blitz Ball is the game you see in the begining...its an under water sport that is still popular in Spira. Blitz Ball is the only thing that keeps the people of Spira happy..and they don't think of Sin. In Blitz Ball there are 6 players, and here are the positions that you can put them in:
- Left forward
-Right Forward
- Middle Forward
- Left defense
-Right defense
- Goalkeeper
The Point of the game is to get the ball over to the other side, and score a goal, in other to score a goal, your shooter must have more SH points that the goal keeper has their CA points in order to get the ball pass him/her.
Each
one of your teammates has his own statistics, and depending on them
and in your strategy, you will be able to win tournaments and/or
leagues of the game. By doing this you'll receive rare items, or
other techs depending in which place you ended up at.
You can also replace your Besaid teamates with other players, to do
that, just go to a person who actually plays Blitz Ball, and press
'square' sometimes it doesn't work because they are not a
Blitzball player..
LV - Level. Player's current level
SP - Speed. It determines wether your player is fast or slow
HP - Hit Points. You use hit points for everything. From
defending to shooting, the HP are like the stamina of your
player.
EN - Endurance. The damage you can take while attacking
AT - Attack. The damage you can inflict while defending
PA - Passing. The higher this statistic is, the longer you can
pass the ball

shoots. The more Cathing, the more shots your goalkeeper will
stop.
Techcopy
The players can techcopy the opposing players techniques when they perform the tech. when markin the opposing players before the game starts, the techs in blue are the only ones that your player can learn so far. When the opposing player performs the tech, a word techcopy flashes green and white in the upper left hand side. u must push the X button before the word dissappears, it successful, you'll hear a chime. If your players' level's are low compared to the marked oppsing players, you wont have much success in techcopying.
