I was honestly looking forward to the release of Evolution 2- I mean the first game I played it for about a week and I said to myself "This is the most boring RPG I have ever played" -yes it was true, Evolution is probably the crapest RPG ever, but it boasted some gorgeous graphics, a great storyline and great detail, so did E2- but this may sound strange but this game was a right bore too. I felt myself drifting off to sleep. The game looks very atractive- cool manga characters, great graphics and beautiful scenery- but as the saying goes: Don't judge a book by it's cover, or in this case a game's cover. Like the original game, the dungeons are massive and they look crap- plus the battles are long and tiresome.

After Grandia 2 and PSO to compete with, E2 certainly fails to impress. I can say the game is totally repetitive- which is the thing which spoils it. But Sting did a good job, for a newcomer at RPG's- they certainly proved that they can make a game stand out- even if it is total bull crap.

Overall: 5/10

"A game that will be forgotten in the next year"

 Game: evolution 2

 Publisher: Ubi-Soft
