This section is designed to enlighten viewers of certain terms and items that are related to Digimon. pictures will be added at a later date. The items will be listed in alphabetical order, with no regard to the seasons. From Armor Digivolve to Virus type, The Diginary has got it!

Armor Digivolve(02): An ancient form of Digivolving. Only occurs when a Digimon combines with a certain type of Digi-Egg. Weaker than a Champion Level Digimon. Ex: Flamedramon.
Baby Level(All): The second form a Digimon takes. Almost no attack power. Raised in the Primary Village.
Beast Spirit Evolution(04): A more powerful elemental warrior than the human spirit equivalent. These spirits are sometimes more difficult to control. Ex: Burninggreymon.
Bio-Emerge(03): The term used by the members of 'Hypnos' when a Digimon enters the Real World through a 'Digital Field'.
Biomerge Digivolution(03): A very unique form of digivolution where Digimon and Tamer digivolve together to form a very powerful mega level digimon. A strong bond between Tamer and Digimon is required for this process to occur. Ex: Gallantmon.
Black Digivice(02): Used by the Digimon Emperor to prevent Digimon from Digivolving. Only works at a short range, though.
Black Gear(01): Found on File Island, these gears were used by Devimon to control Digimon and make himself stronger.
Blue Card(03): This is what started it all. This card, when swiped through a card reader, turns the reader into a 'D-Power'. It also initiates the 'Matrix Evolution'.
Catalyst(03): see 'Crystal Matrix'.
Celestial Digimon(04): Three Mega level Digimon who set law and order in the Digital world after the 10 Legendary Warriors defeated Lucimon. Ex: Sirophimon.
Champion Level(All): The fifth form a Digimon takes. Powerful. Digivice required to reach this form. Ex: Greymon.
Control Spire(02): Used to power the 'Dark Rings' and 'Dark Spirals'. With these in place, the Emperor was able to control many areas of the Digital World. Also, weaken the defenses of the DigiWorld.
Crest(01): The crest were very important in Season 01. Each Digidestined had a crest, and each crest was based on a different characteristic trait. The crests were contained in 'tags' and worn around the neck. Ex: The Crest of Courage.
Crystal Matrix(03): This small red crystal has the power to make Digimon digivolve. Originally hidden deep within the Digital World, it was turned into a Digimon by the 'Digi Gnomes' to protect it from the 'D-Reaper'.
D-3(02): This is the Digivice of the Zero-2 Digidestined. It has three modes: Digital, Detect, and Discover. They are more powerful than the first Digivices and come in a variety of colors, but do not tell the time.
D-Digivolution(All): The reverse of Digivolution. When a higher level Digimon reverts to a lower form. Occurs when a high level Digimon uses up a lot of its energy. ex:Mega reverts to Rookie.
D-Power(03): The Digivice of a 'Digimon Tamer'. Very powerful, These devices can locate digital anomalies and Digimon. They also have a slot on the side for swiping Digimon Cards to power up a Digimon partner. They come in many colors.
D-Scanner(04): Digivices of the Season 04 cast. These have a advanced tracing program, and can store a compatable 'spirit' to between 'spirit evolutions'. These can also 'digitize' and 'render' 'Fractal code'.
D-Terminal(02): Originally not Digimon related, they become very important to the Digidestined. They allowed the Digidestined to communicate with each other, and carried the Digi-Eggs.
Dark Ocean(02): A third world parallel to both the Real and Digital World. A world of total darkness and no light what-so-ever. Can only be reached the a 'Digiport' called the Dark Gate.
Dark Ring(02): Used by the Digimon Emperor to control low level Digimon. Can easily be destroyed.
Dark Spiral(02): More powerful than the 'Dark Ring'. Used to control high level Digimon.
Dark Spore(02): When implanted into the back of a child's neck, this spore makes the child extremely smart and athletic. It also turns the child evil. Must be inserted into a compatible child. Ex: Ken Ichijouji was controlled by the Dark Spore.
Data Type(All): One of the three classifications of Digimon. Data types are usually intelligent, but not hostile. They can be either good, or evil. Ex: Centarumon.
Destiny Stone(02): A strange and powerful stone. It is said that if all seven Stones are destroyed, the Digital World would be destroyed.
Deva(03): The Devas are a powerful type of Digimon. Most are Ultimate level, and follow the 'Digimon Sovereign' with a passion. They believe that Digimon are meant to rule over humans.
Digi-Core(02): A powerful energy core. Azulongmon owns twelve of them. When combined with a Digivice, allows a Digimon to reach the Ultimate and even Mega levels.
Digidestined(01, 02): This is the name given to the children who were chosen to save and protect the Digital World. They are said to have the power to make Digimon digivolve.
Digi-Egg(All): The first form a Digimon takes. Found in the Primary Village and hatch into baby Digimon. (02) Used in the ancient form of Digivolving: Armor Digivolve. Bear the crests of characteristic traits. Ex: The Digi-Egg of Friendship.
Digi-Modify(03): The process of swipping a Digimon card through a 'D-Power' to change the characteristics of a partner Digimon.
Digimon(All): Digital Monster. These creatures are created from pits and pieces of digital information combined into a living creature. They have many qualities and attributes, and there is much mystery surrounding their origin. Each Digimon has its own unique personality and attacks.
Digimon Sovereign(03): Four extremely powerful, mega level Digimon. They are the protectors of the Digital World, and all Digimon. Each rules over his own territory, and has the power of a different element. ex: Azulongmon
Digimon Spirit(04): Small totems of ancient hero's, who once saved the Digital world from the forces of darkness. There is a human and a beast spirit for each of the ten elements. A 'D-Scanner' can upload a compatible spirit and allow for a human to 'spirit evolve' into a digimon.
Digimon Tamer(03): Basically, a person who tames a Digimon. The Digidestined of Season 03. They use 'Modify Cards' to improve their Digimon's abilities.
Digiport(02): A digital gate. Used to travel between the Real World and the DigiWorld. Opened with a D-3.
Digi-Sludge(All): The excrements of a Digimon. A Digimon's organic waste. (Poo)
Digital Field(03): A strange phenominom that occurs in an area of the Real World when a Digimon 'Bio-Emerges'. Often surrounded by a thick fog.
Digitize(04): The process of uploading 'fractal code' from either a defeated, digivolved Digimon, or from the surrounding environment.
Digivolution(All): A complicated form of evolution, when a Digimon changes and becomes stronger. Often initiated when a Digimon gathers enough energy. Also performed when there is a big enough threat, or when a Digimon's partner is in danger.
DigiWorld(All): Digital World. The digital shadow world of Earth. Said to be created from extra bits of digital information from the internet. Home to the Digimon. Said to help make dreams come true.
DNA Digivolve(02): A very unique form of Digivolving. Occurs when two different Digimon Digivolve together to form one Digimon with the strengths of the other two, creating a 'Mutant Digimon'. Ex: Omnimon.
Element(04): A power of nature represented by the 'Digimon Spirits'. Fire, Ice, Thunder, Water, Earth, Wood, Wind, Metal, Light, and Dark.
Fractal Code(04): Real definition: Shapes that look the same but at different magnifications used to create complex images. Digital definition: The basic coding of the Digital World itself. Much was lost when the powerful Chirubimon corrupted the Digital World. Can be repaired with a 'D-Scanner'.
Fusion Evolution(04): A form of spirit evolution the combines the human and beast spirits of a particular element to create an even stronger Digimon. Ex: Altamon.
Hypnos(03): An organization bent on destroying all Digimon. The organization is run by a man named Yamaki, who may have helped in the creation of Digimon.
In-Training Level(All): The Third form a Digimon takes. Almost all Digimon reach this level. All Digimon at this level have the same attack, just with different names. Often called 'Bubble Blow'. Ex: Koromon
Legendary Warrior(04): Human and Beast Digimon, each one representing a different element, that defeated Lucimon many years ago.
Matrix Digivolution(03): Initiated by the 'Blue Card' and the 'Crystal Matrix', this form of Digivolving allows a Digimon to reach the Ultimate level.
Mega Level(All): The final and most powerful level of Digimon. Very few Digimon reach this level. It takes a lot of energy to reach this level, or a miracle. Ex: WarGreymon.
Modify Card(03): When swiped through a 'D-Power', these cards give a Digimon more power. With these cards, a Digimon can gain powers and attributes from other Digimon, as well as power-ups and Digivolution.
Mo-mantai(03)(verb): To take it easy. The catch-frase of Terriermon.
Mutant Digimon(01, 02): An extremely rare Digimon, Brought into existence by the fusion of two or more Digimon into one powerful being. 'DNA Digivolving' can create a Mutant Digimon, but other means are plausible. Ex: Apocalymon.
Render(04): In this case, when the right pieces of 'fractal code' are 'digitized' in a 'D-scanner', the code can be compiled into one program, then released back into the Digital World. The reason for this is to repair the parts of the Digital World that where destroyed by Chirubymon many years ago.
Rookie Level(All): The forth form a Digimon takes. More variation than between 'In-Training' types. Begin to have different traits and qualities. Ex: Agumon.
Spirit Evolution(04): The process of either a Digimon or even a human using an ancient 'spirit' to Digivolve. The ancient spirit's body and abilities are brought back with the human's mind in control.
Tag(01): Simply, a necklace with a case for carrying a crest. Each tag appears the same, but is actually linked to the crest. Once the tag and crest are united, they can never be separated.
Ultimate Level(All): The sixth form a Digimon takes. Only a few Digimon reach this level, as much energy is required. Very powerful, needs a crest or joint power to accomplish.
Unified Spirit Evolution(04): The process of combing multiple human and beast spirits together to create an extremely powerful Digimon. The ten elements were divided evenly between two huamns to create the Unity Spirits. Ex: Emperorgreymon & Magnagarurumon.
Vaccine Type(All): One of the three types of Digimon. Often good and righteous. Fight for what is right against the forces of evil. Ex: Leomon.
Virus Type(All): One of the three classifications of Digimon. Darkness based, these Digimon care only of themselves, and causing others pain. Ex: Etemon.
