If you post a fic without proper disclaimers, the first time, you will receive a reminder (hey, we all forget or make a mistake).

       The second time, you’ll receive a notice (without a proper disclaimer we could all get into trouble).

       If you continue to post fics without proper disclaimers, we will have no choice but to remove you from our list.  This includes accrediting all sources for your fic - if you use something from a book, magazine, artwork, game, etc., all must be properly acknowledged and accredited.

       The easiest way to put that is if it isn’t your original idea - it belongs to someone else or has been published in any way, shape or form including another person‘s fan fiction - then you need to make sure that the original creator is acknowledged and accredited in your disclaimers.

       And when it comes to using original content (or characters, places, events) from someone else’s fan fiction, you’d better be sure to have their permission to do so.  This includes alter-egos or any original character.
