Macross Episode Summaries

Episode 29:

In this episode the secret that the Zentradi and humans are actually not genetically ancestors is discovered. The Zentradi in fact are nothing more then clones of another race built for war. At the end of this episode Gloval decides to send Rick, Lisa, Max and Miriya on a mission to steal the factory satelite so that they can make new weapons to defend the earth with!

Episode 30: Viva Miriya

The four RDF defenders with the help of Breetai start to devise an attack strategy to steal the factory satelite from a group of Zentradi. The plan consist of exposing this Zentradi to culture shock with the song of Lynn Minmei, Rick and Lisa kissing, and the new born daughter of Max and Miriya. The plan goes into action, Rick reluctantly kisses Lisa, and the group of RDF defenders manage to get the Factory in there possesion!

Episode 31: Kyrhons revenge

Kyrhon reappears on earth to get renvenge on the SDF-1, however the only way to do so is to reclaim the Micron system that can turn Zentradi back into their giant forms. So a battle to reclaim this system occurs, Rick manages to foil it and his intentions are to take back the system into military custody but thanks to Kyle he is unable to do so! Kyrhon once again attacks this time with much stronger forces and unfortunately Rick is too late and the Rouge Zentradi become giants once again so that they can revive a war with the earthlings!

Episode 32: Broken Heart

In this episode Kyrhon devises a plan to capture Lynn Minmei so that he can hold her and Kyle for ransom. So the plan is set forth into motion and Minmei is captured, Rick once again is order to save Minmei from Kyrhon in an operation called Star Dust! The mission is a success unfortunately Kyrhon yet again gets away, Lynn Kyle complains about the decor of the mission with Lisa. Rick proclaims he only did this mission for Minmei kisses her,a jealous Lisa breaks the two up and orders Rick to go chase Kyrhon, Rick reluctantly follows his mission perameters!

Episode 33: Rainy Night

Lisa tries to apologize to Rick, but all her efforts end in utter failure and she is told to stay out of his personal life. Claudia tries to cheer Lisa up by telling her how Roy and her first started when they loved each other! So the whole episode revolves around fake flash backs of pre-macross days! At the end of this episode Rick realizes he infact was a jerk to Lisa and manages to track her down at Claudia's place, the two make up and a new romance in the Macross World starts to develope!

Episode 34: Private Time

Rick Hunter basically stands Lisa up on a date to go see Minmei, who had called him begging to see him! When Rick and Minmei infact start to eat at a resturant Kyle shwos up and makes a big scene about how Minmei is drunk and drags her off! Well with nothing left to do at Monument City Rick races off to try and catch up with Lisa who is waiting at a resturant. But unfortunately their is a road block in the form of Rogue Zentradi and Rick finds himself having to deal with them! By the end of the episode he catches Lisa right before she is leaving however gets caught up in his own lie when Lisa reckonizes Minmei's perfume on Rick scarf, and thus trouble in paradise happens!

Episode 35: Season's Greetings

Kyrhon devise yet another plan this time to reclaim the protoculture matrix so that his battle cruizer will have enough power to leave earth. Elsewhere Minmei shows up on Rick's doorsteps pleading for him to let her stay at his place, Lisa over hears Rick say yes while ease dropping from outside, this crushes her heart and she runs off to get drunk! The next day Christmas is here, Kyrhon attacks and Lisa tells a white lie saying Rick is sick in bed with a cold, because of this Max and Miriya go out to do battle, and are outnumberd, Kryhon gets away with the Matrix, and sets Macross city on fire! Rick confronts Lisa about her lie, she says he should be more discreet about having people over, Rick storms off and spends his Christmas with Minmei, at the end of the episode Rick and Minmei kiss!

Episode 36: To the Stars (Final Episode)

Lisa decides that she will leave the military because of Rick, but is convinced by Gloval to take her own command with her very own battleship! Her new mission will be to go find earth a new suitable world or in other words colonize space. The reason behind this was the fact, Earth has basically become a place of war, and space needs to be taught about love and culture in other words a peace mission. She accepts, and decides to tell Rick she is leaving! A knocking on the door occurs it is Lisa, and she confesses her love for him! Rick is taken aback by this, while Lisa runs off, Rick tries to chase after her but Minmei's stop him saying he can't go. Just then Kryhon launches his final attack on the earth and the SDF-1 Macross! Rick tells her to let go of him, he finds Lisa on the ground luckily she is alright and Rick confesses he really loves her too! Minmei shows up and the two say they fight in this war not to destroy things but to protect what they love, Minmei finally realizes this. Rick and Lisa head off to do battle!

Kryhon attacks at full strength, Gloval decides to use the last of the SDF-1 Macross's power to fire the main gun, the gun fires only grazing the battlecruizer, Kyrhon launches a kamakize attack on the Macross destroying a major portion of it! Rick surveys the damage and finds out that Lisa is in fact still alive! The two embrace and just then Minmei shows up to say her final goodbye to Rick having known she has lost him to Lisa, and thus she says goodbye walking off into the sunset to become a more acomplished singer! Rick and Lisa embrace each other with the war ended the only thing left is to complete the mission of going to the Stars and beyond, the war is over! And with that so does Macross!
