Description
Yolei was one of the other three to be chosen to carry a D3 at the beginning of the 02 season.  When Davis and Veemon were captured, Yolei and Cody along with Sara and Izzy went to find the new digieggs.  Once they did, Yolei recieved her Digiegg of Love and also her digimon partner, Hawkmon.  She then used her Digiegg of Love and had Hawkmon Armor Digivolve to Halsemon, the Wings of Love.  Later on, when Digitamamon turned evil because of a dark spiral in him, Mimi tried to tell him that we were his friends, but he wouldn't listen.  Yolei got very upset and sincere about her feelings then, which caused the Digiegg of Sincerity to show up in front of her.  She used that digiegg on Hawkmon to Armor Digivolve him into Shurimon, the Samurai of Sincerity.  After the Digimon Emperor was defeated, Hawkmon was able to Digivolve into Aquillamon, a larger form of Hawkmon with horns.  After a while, Ken, Kari, and Yolei got stuck in the dark dimention of the digital world.  However, once they got out, Yolei and Kari discovered they were closer than they thought, which also caused Gatomon and Aquillamon to DNA digivolve into Silphymon.  Yolei also proved her usefulness during the time in the insect house and in other areas like the world tour and in the following battles.

Personality
Yolei is always the one to fall in love with a pretty face.  After all, she fell in love with Ken right from the start, but then found out who he really was and was very upset.  But, after the incident with Digitamamon, she became more sincere about her feelings and decided to choose people to fall in love with more carefully.  She is also very strong willed, always choosing to go her own way, which really upsets Davis a lot.  But, she is very kind and considerate of others, proving her worth to the team time and time again.
