The entire site started out as a dream.  One day, just toying around, I started a site on my talk city account, kind of like a public profile.  However, that later grew into a different vision, a vision for a Pokémon site.  I built the site and then called it Professor Oak's Laboratory.  This was about 3 to 4 years ago.  Now, the site has evolved so much that it has become this, Anime Laboratory.

But, originally, I didn't plan on the other sites that came into the POL Family.  First, there was the contact with Manda's Pokémon gym, aka MPG.  She was my first affiliate and helped shape the site to what it is today.  She mostly taught me the basics of how to run a site, like Affiliates, webrings, and stuff like that.  Then, there was raikou, the webby of Anime Isle, and later on, Anime Zone Isle after a large merger.  He was the one who taught me how to design layouts to make them look great.  Now, I'm able to take the lessons passed on by these 2 great webmasters and use them to my own advantage.  Thank you for believing in me.

But, those were not the only ones to enter into the POL family.  There were soon subdivisions to my site, with a division for Digimon called Angemon's Digimon Page, built similar to my starting pages.  Then, later on, I ran into a great series called Gundam wing and created a division for that called Epyon's Gundam Wing.  By that time, I was writing fan fics and was very busy, so I created parallel sites, one for POL, one for Seraphimon's Heaven, which was ADP, and one for EGW.  Now, I have the sites merged into one and have a great staff backing me up.  But, this is only the beginning of the history of the site.

Not too long after the beginnings of the designs of AL were started, a member of my staff, named Charstar, came to me and told me of some grave news to him.  He had lost a very close friend, Allison Aquarian Noles, who went by the name Lorea.  Charstar had feelings for Lorea, but Lorea's friends told her that Charstar would not be able to love him the way that she needed, which was farther from the truth.  Plus, with the added effect of an abusive family, it didn't make matters much better.  So, one day, she committed suicide.  Once I heard news of this, I immediately dedicated the site to her memory because everyone deserves the chance to love and the chance to live.

Recently, I have been toying around with my Front Page program, seeing what I can do with it to make it look better.  I have also been talking to a few webmasters, like PokeDigiGenius, webby of PDHQ and GameFreak, the webby of ATD.  They have become close friends and offer me advice whenever I need it.  Now, with the combined power of my Micrografix Picture Publisher and Front Page, I am able to make even better sites.  Just wait till you see what is in the future of the Anime Laboratory's layout.  But, I wouldn't be much of anywhere without PDG and GF, so thank you for being there to help me out when I need it.

But, this is not the end of the tale of Anime Laboratory, but rather just the beginning.  What will the next chapter lead?  We don't know, but we will be here to give you your info on the anime you love.
