Description
Rika received Renamon after winning a big Digimon Card tournament and scanning her blue card through her Card Reader.  Rika thought that by battling several digimon and absorbing their data, Renamon would digivolve, but that was not the truth.  When Rika was in danger of being killed by Dokugemon, Renamon came to her rescue and digivolved to Kyubimon to save her.  Later on, during the devas saga, Renamon was called by the horse deva to join them and be able to digivolve.  She refused and was put into danger, but Rika came to rescue her and, with the help of another blue card, was able to have Kyubimon Matrix Digivolve into Taomon.  After a while in the digital world, she met up with her card rival, Ryo, who also had a digimon partner as well.  She was upset at seeing him because Ryo is the only person able to beat her at the Digimon Card game.  She then met up with the group when Takato and Henry met up with the guardians of the digital world.  She also went down, with Ryo right behind her, to save Calumon.  They tried everything to keep the D-reaper away from Calumon, even using Cyberdramon's attack to block it off with rocks from the cavern, but it was no use.  So, with that, Rika and Renamon knew that they had to sacrifice themselves to save the others.  However, when they jumped, they were able to Biomerge Digovlve into Sakuyamon and get out of there, protecting Calumon and the Catalyst within him.  Then, Calumon released the catalyst and went home with the digidestined to the real world.

Personality
Rika is very strong willed and very closed to herself.  She is also overconfident about her knowledge of the card game, yet has rightfully earned the title of "the Digimon Queen."  However heartless she may seem, she does have a heart deep down inside of her, showing that she cares for Renamon time and time again and showing that she also cares for the others by helping them out when they need it.
