Special Features

There are not many special features to the game since this is the first Pokémon game that you can play, but you can do the following in mostly every other game afterwards...
-Link up with a friend and trade Pokémon or battle them.
-Trade Pokémon with a friend to evolve them.
-Find secret areas that hold powerful Pokémon, like the Seafoam Islands or the Power Plant.
-Use the Safari Zone and catch rare Pokémon.
-Missing Pokémon that basically grow on the same timetables.
