Description
Davis was always a silly one, always wanting to do what the others wanted
to do. When he found a message from Tai to his sister, Kari, he
delivered it and started to ask about the digital world. However,
T.K. refused to have him come along because he didn't have a digivice.
Just then, the beams of light shot out from the digital gate and gave
Davis, Yolei, and Cody a D3. Davis then proved to them that he could
come along. Just then, they went to the digital world and found
where Tai had seen the Digiegg of Courage. Davis was the only one
able to pull it out, which also released his digimon, Veemon. Later
on, when they were fighting against the Monocromon, Davis broke his
rectangular goggles, but then found out from Veemon how to work the
digieggs, which was by saying, "Digiarmor Energize!" When
he did that, Veemon armor digivolved to Flamedramon, the fire of courage
and was able to defeat the Monocromon. He also was captured by Ken,
but Halsemon and Digmon were able to save him. Then, he was faced
with double jeopardy when the Deltamon was going to eat his friends, but
he was only able to save one of them. He finally found out that it
was a trick, but also found out the Digimon Emperor's true identity as Ken
because of the blood from Davis' slide tackle in the previous soccer
game. Later on, at the end of the DarkMetalGreymon saga, he learned
from the others what it meant to be a true friend, since Davis didn't want
to fight because he didn't want to hurt his friend. But, when he realized
that to be a true friend means to also fight back against them when you
need to, the Digiegg of Friendship came to him and armor digivolved Veemon
into Raidramon, the storm of frienship. Near the end of the Digimon
Emperor's reign over the digital world, Davis went down to the reactor and
found the "power source," which also happened to be a golden
digiegg. When Davis used it, Veemon was able to Golden Armor
Digivolve to Magnamon. With that, he was able to defeat Chimeramon,
using some of Wormon's power to charge up his Magna Explosion
attack. Then, when they were rebuilding the digital world, Davis
wanted Veemon to digivolve just like Patamon could. However, all of
his attemps had failed, but he managed to upset a Tortomon in the
process. With that, Veemon was able to digivolve to Exveemon when
Davis was in danger of being destroyed by the Tortomon. Then, when
the old base of the Digimon Emperor was going to blow up, Davis was the
one able to stretch out a hand of friendship to Ken, which also caused
Exveemon and Stingmon to DNA digivolve into Paildramon and let them enter
the base. Davis then was able to use the light of the digiorb from
Azulongmon to digivolve Paildramon into Imperialdramon before the world
tour was over. After the world tour, the old digimon gave
Imperialdramon their digivolving energy, which caused Imperialdramon to
become Imperialdramon Fighter mode.
Personality
Davis seems to be the silly one of the group, yet he does love
soccer. He also expresses the fact that he has feelings for Kari and
likes her a lot, but hates T.K. because Kari seems closer to T.K. than he
is. Davis then learns to get over his feelings and become a good
leader. Davis also expresses the values of Courage, Friendship, and
the willingness to fight for protecting his friends.
