Description
Cody was one of the three new digidestined that recieved a D3 from the start.  Later on, when Davis and Veemon were kidnapped, Cody and Yolei along with Izzy and Sara went to go find the new digieggs.  When they found them, Cody was able to lift up the Digiegg of Knowlege and receive his digimon partner, Armadillomon.  With the Digiegg of Knowledge, Armadillomon was able to Armor Digivolve to Digmon, the Drill of Power.  Later on, when the digidestined were stuck under the sea in the oil rig, Cody was sent to get help, which he found in Joe.  When they returned, they were able to find the Digiegg of Reliability.  With that, Armadillomon Armor Digivolved to Submarimon, the Reliable Guardian of the Sea and defeat MegaSeadramon.  Later on, Armadillomon was able to digivolve into Ankylomon, a larger form of Armadillomon with more spikes and armor plating.  Later on, while guarding the last Stone, Cody became closer to T.K. in his beliefs, which then caused Ankylomon and Angemon to DNA digivolve to Sakuyamon.  Cody proved his worth time and time again during the world tour and during the final battles that soon followed.

Personality
Cody is always filled with kindness towards others, not wanting to hurt or destroy anyone.  In fact, Cody even tried to talk to BlackWargreymon about his rampage of destroying the sacred stones of the digital world.  But, as we soon find out, Cody had lost his dad early on in his life, which shows why he doesn't want to destroy the digimon because he doesn't want to be responsible for killing them.  Later on, though, he experiences the killing of a digimon, MarineDevimon to be exact, and is saddened by seeing it die, even though it was still attacking the people.  Cody also didn't trust Ken when he returned to the team.  However, with time, Ken showed his kind heart, which caused Cody and Ken to become good friends.  Cody is very tough and very reliable, always there whenever they need help.
