Smaller graphics download quickly, your graphics should be small in size.
Every graphic link should have a matching text link.
Graphics and backgrounds should use only browser-safe colors.
Animated graphics should turn off by themselves.
Do not over use moving grphics.
The GIF format works best with buttons, icons, cartoons, line art and text images.
JPEG is usually a better file format to use for photographs.
Always use height, width and the ALT HTML Tags with your images.
