Chapter 28

After breakfast Liz, Brian, Nick and Megan started preparing the house for the pool party in two days. They called everybody they hadn't gotten the chance to invite before and when the rain died down, they started to decorate outside. They put out all of Liz's pool chairs and borrowed a few from Brian. Megan and Liz decided what food they would serve and Kevin had offered to help barbecue. Neither Nick nor Brian argued since they weren't exactly the best cooks. Laney and Riley had gone to work but Liz's doctor told her to take the week off to rest from her injury.

They next day Megan and Liz went and bought all the food. Along with them, Nick, and Brian (over constant supervision) made all the appetizers and such. Almost everything was ready for tomorrow's party. They were having tons of guests:

Liz invited Josh, his Brother Joey, and Joey's girlfriend Kristen.
Zach invited Heather and Amber (so AJ could spend more time with her).
Darren invited Juliet, they're now dating.
Liz, Laney and Riley invited their mentor, James Spark. He was their collage professor in fashion design. He inspired them to start their own company. Mr. Spark was in his thirties, he was young for his profession, but he was good at what he did. Mr. Spark was bringing his wife and some associates that were in town.
Kevin was bringing his new girlfriend, who nobody had met yet.
Liz also invited some other friends-Kate (not Kate the journalist for the Florida Inquirer), Pamela, Elana, Karen, Crissy, Heather, Natalie, Nicole, and Daphne and more.
Brian invited about eight of his friends.
All was going to plan. Everything was ready for the party, all the food looked great. According to Nick, who did a little bit of taste testing, it tasted great too.
